My name is Ekaterina Mallory. I am 23 and I am writer, a poet, and I also design clothes. I like to read a lot, and watch a lot of movies. I am originally from Mexico but I live in Arizona which is how I found Equilibrim the AZ Republic gave it 4 stars and a wonderful review and it made me want to see it, so I did. I have only converted 5 people to become fans and most of them are my family.

I'm 29, from the Philippines, a network/IT guy. Love fencing, martial arts, movies and reading; saw EQ trailer on cable and couldn't wait for theater release so I found a bootleg copy and it blew me away. Saw it in the theater 3 times, took all my brothers once and some friends. Also tried preaching in the office to anyone within earshot but they're mostly Matrix heathens Tried impressing them with gun-kata but they thought I was having some kind of fit. Thinking of using blackmail to get the message across. "Hey dude, if you ever want to see your Animatrix DVD again..." ;D I have "converted" maybe 4 ppl, and working on a 5th.

I feel old. ;D I'm 30, stationed in Biloxi, Mississippi as an Air Force Instructor teaching computer network management. I have a group of friends and we all get together on Fridays for hours of role-playing (currently Call of Cthulhu). One of those friends turned my attention to Equilibrium and I've been hooked ever since. I've only watched it 3 times so far and I'm doing my best to spread the word to staff and students alike. I'm trying to purchase the Alien watch as we speak so that I can wear the timepiece for all to see. I've converted about 4 people so far. My interests range from reading, writing, movies, role-playing (better than drinking or drugs any day) and cars...

Tyler Hickman. I'm a "whipper-snapper" on these forums. 17. I'm in North Carolina. I saw Equilibrium in theatres twice. After browsing through some Christian Bale stuff after watching American Psycho, I found out he was doing this. I'm a "heathen" fan of Matrix, and this looked sweet. So, I went, and now, EQ is my favorite movie. I love movies, drawing, filming, and vid.games.

Well, needless to say I am the owner & creator of this website and forum. Jennifer Foust is the name and I ceased revealing my age when I turned 23 but to give you guys a hint I not only saw the following films in the theater during their first theatrical run but remember it as well; Raiders of the Lost Ark, Superman, Star Wars, Jaws. (Yes, I'm older than most of you but the Internet is the great equalizer.) Family, films, playing on the computer, & reading take up most of my time. I'm an action/adventure film junkie and found EQ due to Reign of Fire. I didn't realize that Bale could do action so I set about to find out what other action flicks he'd done. EQ was listed. Saw it seven times in the theater, three the first week it was out. Had my husband drive me 6 hours to Arizona just to get another fix then flew to Atlanta when I found out it and Wimmer would be there (an awesome experience that I'll never forget!!). EQ & Matrix are tied as my all time favorite films. Here is a pix of me with the CHUD guys in Atlanta... I started building this site in February when I realized that many of us EQ fans really had no where to go but to hang out on other message boards (CHUD & IMDB). Besides since the parent company had no interest in promoting the film on the net I decided someone needed to pick up the ball. I didn't want all that information about the film throughout the net lost. To date I have converted about 10 actual people and I have no idea how many virtual ones.

My name is Ryan, I live in Toronto , Canada THE GREAT NORTH, its not that cold here and no we dont live in snow houses. 23 years old, an employment consultant for a large non for profit corporation. My brother told me about EQ months ago, but he said it was banned and you could only download it via WWW.
I hate downloading movies and so I waited for it to come out on rental and after renting it once, i went out and bought the film the nxt day on dvd. Now have become somewhat of a Christian Bale fan. HUGE KW FAN! obviously, have converted many people to EQ fans.
I dont think that Matrix 1 or 2 or both together even come close to EQ, dont get me wrong i liked the matrix movies, but they are just not on the same page imo.
My fav movies are QT movies, pulp fiction, reservoir dogs, Jacky brown, desperado, any film he was involved in. Also love Kung Fu movies, Bruce Lee, but Big Sonny Chiba is my absolute favorite. The Street fighter movies, Shoguns Ninja, and many more great karate movies. Also have to mention Dune, the greatest story ever told, if you like John Preston you would love Dune's Miles Teg. I play way too much computer, RPGs, Action, RTS, FPS, all of the latest games, also a huge sports fan, I play basketball in a competitive league, baseball, golf, soccer(indoor) and just about any other sport as well.
this last weekend I think i converted about 3 of my friends to EQ fans, talked to one of them last night and all he could say was "I have to see that movie again" I laughed and he said "no seriously , I need to see it again tonight" needless to say, watched it again last night

Greetings, fellow Sense Offenders. I'm Coolhand, a 24 year old lurking in the suburbs of the UK. By day, I'm a humble IT support admin, but away from the teidium of the office, I'm a Writer, a Snowboarder, Playstation demon and film fan. I also fight crime under the guise of the Spandex Avenger. No, I'm joking about that last bit. Honest.
I came across Equilibrium by accident when a cinema time table listed it as a new Sci-Fi action movie. I went in curious. I came out gibbering like a gerbil on a caffeine drip. EQ now vies with The Matrix and Grosse Pointe Blank for my film affections like three beautiful mistressess (why does this never happen to me in real life?) but EQ is the only movie I've ever felt the urge to write any fanfic for.
4 Converted, 6,000,000,000 to go....

I'm a man of few words, so I'll keep it short.
My name's John Porter; I'm 17, & live in Seattle. I am a graphic designer & I enjoy making icons, wallpapers and other desktop elements.
A friend introduced me to EQ October of last year. He received several Promo copies of the actual dvd, so I had my EQ dvd about a month before the release.
Not much else to tell.
Oh, 27 converted & counting.

Hi, everyone. Good idea, NoodleCleric. ;D
My name is Stefanie, but my good friends call me Trinity. I adore EQ, The Matrix and Reloaded...they are my favorite movies of all time.
Like JenGe, don't really like to say my age, 'cause I think I'm older than you all. But hey, "age ain't nothing but a number" (Aaliyah). I'm 36, live in San Diego, CA, and am a Paralegal and aspiring novelist. I love all things dark and creepy, as well as thought-provoking movies like EQ.
Alas, I didn't hear about EQ until after it ran in the theatre. But when I discovered it, I watched it every day for months and sometimes, even twice a day. I watch it at least once a week currently. I have converted 11 people to EQ fanatics, and am working on number 12. Doesn't help that I won't lend out my EQ DVD, but I just can't let go of that thing!
Glad to "see" you all here. All my best to my fellow EQ fans! ;D

My name is Gareth Goddard. 18y/o. 1st saw EQ by chance, because we were bored, and wanted to see what films were on, and someone told us EQ was on, so we checked it out expecting nothing.Needless to say we all came out of the movie raving about how good it was, and went to see it again a couple of days later. Dunno how many people i have personaly converted to EQ fans, but as a group i think it totals about 10. Used to have an equlibrium "site" but due to lazyness, and the fact this place is better, it never really went anywhere. Seen equlibrium twice in cinema, and too many times on computers (its allowed i am still going to pick up the DVD when it comes out) My favourite(only) piece of EQ mech is the poster i picked up the other day.

Hi everyone. First of all... my apologies for my broken English (I'm quite good in reading and listening.... but a real dummie in writing and speaking). Well... my name is Giuseppina and I live in Rome, italy. I'm quite old in this group...I'm 36 but, hey..... whoever thinks I'm too old to watch good movie is wrong. I love sci-fi, action, comedy, thriller and drama movies.... provided that they are good movie. And EQ is UNQUESTIONABLY a good one. ;D I found out about EQ by chance...... I saw the trailer (it was broadcasted just once) and I was really thrilled.... I went to wacht it on the first day of theater release.... and I LOVED IT since ever! Well... actually I loved Preston's character (as long with Christian Bale, obviously! ;D).... but I was really amazed to watch such a exciting, moving and interesting movie. So, I just rocketed to my PC and bougth my DVD copy (well... actually I bought 2 copies ) from Amazon. I've been watching it since then (over and over.... and it won't ever bore me!) Unfortunately, I've converted one only friend so far (because his the one who likes watching original language movies.... Italians are very lazy in that. They go mad if they have to watch original language movies.) Anyway, I've already spread out words about it to all my friends... (with such a veemence that I guess they think I'm quite crazy.... but it doesn't matter because it's for a good cause!).... so, as soon as it will be released in italian dubbed version I think it will be a sold-out. Well.... I'm so glad to be here with you and share the same feelings, and also I'm proud to be an EQ's fan. Thanks to all of you to make me feel "whole".

Hi all, My name is Chris (20yr), and as far as I can tell I'm the only one on this board from The Netherlands. I came into contact with Equilibrium a few months ago. My girlfriend and myself had some spare time on our hands so we decided to go to the movies. To make things even a bit more interesting we chose to go to the Sneak preview. (I hope you all know what that it... but I'm quite shure you know) It turned out some futuristic movie was up for the night. After the movie was finished it turned out my girlfriend didn't like the movie that much, as a matter of fact, almost nobody in the audience liked the movie. I couldn't understand, what a GREAT movie Well, that was my first encounter with Equilibrium, I've been trying to find the DVD but NOWEHER in the Netherlands do they have the DVD.. or do they even have any knowlege of this movie...... oh well, I'll just consider myself one of the lucky ones....

Hello fellow resistance! Anyhoo, my name is An and I have a few more days until I turn 16--the most important time in a teenager's life: driver license (whoo-hoo!) I live in the godforsaken state of Oklahoma I usually hate action films because they tend to look dumb but I decided to see EQ because I love Christian Bale. This is the first action film I have seen that has a heart and a brain. Sadly, I've only converted 1 person and I only knew her from imdb.

Someone who knows...so few do. Last season my Gareth took fencing. It was sooo awesome to watch him. I'm hoping my son will end up in martial arts....preferably Tai-Chi or Aikido (more mellow and disciplined, I think). My father gave me my name, Shane, based on the 1951 movie of the same name (western). I was watching Four Weddings and a Funeral and while watching the credits, saw the name Gareth. I was looking for a name that went well with Michael (his middle name, as well as my father and I...don't care for Jr., much). I looked into the name and found out about Sir Gareth, beknighted and slain by the same man, Sir Lancelot....

My full and real name is Joost van Ekris, I am 20 years old and I'm from The Netherlands. I found out about Equilibrium when it was mentioned "as exception" on the site of Arnies Airsoft. I commited the sin of downloading the movie and became instantly hooked. Great FX, great story, and great acting, especially considering the movies' budget. Excellent! Ok, about me then.. I like martial arts, have studied judo for a couple years, but that was a long time ago. I have an i-kyu degree (brown belt) in Kendo and I will soon start taking lessons in Aikido and / or Wing Tsu. I also love to travel, just this summer I've visited 9 countries. (Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Poland, Czechia, Belgium, Luxembourg, France, and England) And I've lived in Wakayama, Japan for a year. (Near Osaka.) Other hobbies include swimming, scuba diving, airsoft, computers / games and working on cars. I've got a broad musical taste, favorite bands at the moment include: Rammstein, Apocalyptica, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Corvus Corax, Hedningarna, Metallica, The Dust Brothers and a whole bunch of others.. Well, that's about it.. if you wanna know anything else, just ask..
