We had a thread like this in the old forum but it got deleted. Sorry to every one who added theirs. This is to replace it.
"Tread softly because you tread on my dreams"
"Its but a vestigial word for a feeling you've never felt."
Huuummm...I just realized that both of those are stated by Partridge.

My hubby told me that even after the third time I dragged him to see EQ, that part gave him the chills... because he knew what was coming next. ;D Heehee, yay! I've seen it twice, I'm going to see it for the third time in about an hour ;D I can't fecking wait! I've rounded up a few people who haven't seen it yet, because I'm determined to share the wonder with as many people as I possibly can.

You go girl!!! During its second week here in the USA many theaters cut it back to only one or two showings. None of my friends would come with me at 10pm at night. What's that about?!!! I had to go alone. To keep it on track...another quote... "I'm asking you one last time... Don't do this."

I absolutely adore the Father speech (as JenGe most likely knows ) It's too long to post here, www.freewebs.com/equilibrium-movie/libria.htm read it there. There's a scene in every schweet movie that you play over and over again, well that and the scene where Preston and DuPont gunkata it up are the scenes that got worn right through.

What about "It's as vital as breath. And without it, without love, without anger, without sorrow, breath is just a clock ticking".
I personally LOVED that one.

There's so many that have stayed with me. My fav is, "No, not without incident." Here's a few more:
"I pay it gladly."
"If I was going to shoot you, I'd shoot you in the face."

"I'm sure this must be some mistake.." "You are an offender!" "Ahh-ha I am not!" "No? Then why are you so scared of me? Now you will tell me everything you know about "Harold?" Partridge or I will have a Wagon come and take you to the Hall of Destruction for Summary Combustion."

Damn, all my favs are taken. Anyways i thought this one was cool also. It was when he breaks down in the street after Mary dies. "Cleric John Preston............... you are under arrest" Then BAM punch right in the face.

Ok, here is one of my faves that hasn't been posted yet...
"Its not the message that is important but our obedience to it."
When I first heard that I, myself, felt Preston's pent up rage because I don't know how many times I've heard people use the exact same line of thought in my own religion. Its wrong and always will be wrong!!

I liked "I'm coming..." and "no........not without incident" And even tho it wasn't a "line" from the movie I still like the look of shock on Brandt's face when Preston turns him in har har har.

OOOoh - love quotes! ;D
Have a few faves - most have been listed:
No - not without incident
Tread softly because you tread on my dreams
But no one's mentioned
How do you get a cleric to give up his weapon? You ask him for it
(or something like that, don't think i've got it quite right)
Oh that was fab - because, it was a right kick in the teeth and you could see something snap right inside Preston.
Argh - i feel the need to see this film again!
d'oh!

Actually it's: What is the easiest way to get a weapon from a Grammatal (that's what it really sounded like) Cleric?
You ask him for it.
Yay i love that too

Well, let's see... most of my favorite quotes have already been mentioned. I like it when Brandt says "Why do they keep these animals? What do they- do they eat 'em?" I thought his ignorance was pretty funny.

Hmm...tricky...so many good quotes LOL! Personally I'd go for these: "No...not without incident!"
"Without love, without anger, without sorrow, breath is just a clock...ticking."-on a personal level; that really struck a chord in me
"You really should learn to knock"-don't know why, but something about the way DuPont says that really made me grin. "I'm asking you one last time. Don't do this." "My name is John Preston; I'm the highest ranking Cleric at the Tetra Grammaton!" "We're the Tetra Grammaton; there's nothing we can't do!"[/i] There are others I love, but those are the main ones

One that tickled me the second and third times I saw the film was Brant's final line: "Mind the uniform Preston. I intend to be wearing it for a long time." Because a little voice inside my head always goes: "I dont THINK so....." ;D

It's not a line as such, but the little grin Preston gives DuPont's growling bodygaurd before he grabs a Katana and unleashes hell is wonderful.
And the casual expression on his face seconds later when he's stood calm amidst a pile of bodies, followed by the "Don't just sit there, get him!" look Dupont gives Brandt is all pure class and very, very funny without ever a word being spoken.

Hey everyone, first post to these boards. I just saw the movie on Saturday and love it, bought it already and everything.
Definitely "No." BEEEEEP "Oh. Shit." "Not without incident." has its place as the ultimate moment when you know everything is about to go down. I also am a fan of Brandt's "You're under arrest" followed by punch upside the head.
Other lines I liked were: (paraphrase) "But without control, isn't what we're doing just mayhem?"
"Friends... I'm wondering if you have the slightest idea what that word means."
"Then I have no choice but to remand you to the council for processing." "You mean execution, don't you?" (strained) "Processing."
