That's cool JenGe - really looking forward to when your site launches. I seem to have the opposite problem - I have my domain name bought but I still haven't gotten my site up yet - like you it is on the back burner but I'm getting a lot of slack from people that it's not up - So my goal is to finish up the basic this week and get it launched by this weekend -we shall see. Yesterday I went to a Photoshop Seminar taught by Bert Monroy - the man is a brilliant awesome Photoshop artist. www.bertmonroy.com Really inspired me to get my site done. ;D

Getting ready to leave for a double feature today. First Shooter to get the body count and then Reign Over Me with a friend of mine. We see films together once a week but she will not do the violent flicks. That means a day at the movies.

Actually - you know The Last Mimzy wasn't that bad. I had no idea what it was going to be about but my mom called and wanted to see it so I went. I have to say that the movie was quite good. There were some pieces of the movies where it didn't flow but for the most part it was a really interesting movie. The movie was about these two kids who find a strange object in the ocean that contains objects that they can control and hear but their parents cannot. Without saying to much more about it - it was an interesting movie and only a bit slow now and again. The movie was supposed to be a children's sci-fi movie - but I think it was more of a young-adult to adult movie because a lot of stuff the kids just wouldn't get - despite the message being good. And for once - I was watching a movie with kids acting that they didn't act annoying or dumb - they actually acted. www.mimzy.com/

I finished all my school work until after Spring break...whooo...hooo. PARTY TIME!!
Got family coming to the house on Sunday for an April Fool's Day Easter get-to-gether. It's time to dig out the spring boxes. Change the decor a tad (I add in teal for spring/summer.)
Spring Cleaning is desperately needed as well. The Dust Bunnies have moved into the Fridge...
Got 5 sections of my project site done...just waiting for money to buy the domain name.
Hubby is helping son #5 make a weather system cake for Pack Meeting (cub scouts) tonight. I'm so thrilled he loves to cook since I hate it.

Do they like the colder temps? ;D I'm just curious..... ;D ============================================= As for what I'm doing..... I'm currently doing a doctorate thesis concerning the thermodynamics of weather patterns of the northern hemisphere........ nawww just kiddin ;D ;D I'm playing video games and blasting the entertainment system in the house...... (and if anyone out there is doing a doctorate thesis, my best wishes.... my friend is going through that right now......looks insanely tough!)

In the midst of finishing 4 major design projects at work and hopefully make some time to finish a few personal projects once I get home.
Just about to start in on some popcorn and finishing off my last cup of tea left over from the UK (sniffle....guess I'll need to order some more).
I hear you on the spring cleaning JenGe - I'm going to embark on that quest this weekend. ;D

Yesterday, I stubbed my toe on my Elliptical Trainer for the last time. After yelling a few choice epithets and making sure the blood wasn't flowing, I used the adrenaline that generated to pick up the damn thing, heave it over my shoulder, and take it out the door, down the stairs, and wedge it into the back of my truck. I promptly took it to the dump. (Whatever they're calling dumps these days ... they change the sign so quickly I forget. When I was a kid it was the "County Dump." A couple of years ago it was a "Sanitary Landfill." Now I believe it's a "Solid Waste Processing Station." I'm betting next year it will probably be a 'Waste Recycling and Recovery Centre.' I'm sure it will wind up as a 'Shelter For Unwanted Objects.') However, the story ends happily ... the machine was in good working order, and a fellow there noticed it and asked if he could take it off my hands to use. So it wound up not being in the landfill after all.

Fighting off a morning migraine which are the worst. If I don't get it soon my entire day will be lost. Haven't had one of these in over 6 months so that's actually good.

Mira - I love your signature picture - where is that? ;D I just want to take my shoes off and run around in it! It's the view from Box Hill on the North Downs looking south across the Sussex Weald toward the South Downs in the far distance. In other words, the view across my home county of Sussex.

I've been spending good portions of the last few days picking up hundreds ... thousands, perhaps ... of granules of styrofoam packing materiel from off my property. Probably the trash bag of someone down the road burst ... clawed open by raccoons or something ... and the wind did blow ... and of course if YOUR trash is blown onto someone else's property, it's not "YOUR trash" anymore ... IS IT?!! Well ... I know a really, really good way to irritate someone who has a yard now ... Moral of the story ... don't bother living a trash-free lifestyle ... if you have no trash of your own, you'll wind up having to deal with other people's!!

awww - that sucks Aedh - I know that I have a leaf problem in my yard. I live at the end of my row (lol I sound like I'm in jail....) anyway - and everyone's leaves blow onto my property. Which just plain sucks - but luckily most of my neighbors do tend to rake their leaves accordingly but they can't control the wind - I'm telling you though......grrrr...... Love my trees....love the shade....the wind blowing through the leaves...hate having to pick up all the crap my trees have thrown up on my lawn..... Saying that though - if I know who's trash happens upon my lawn then you'd better believe that'll it'll magically appear right back on their door step with a little bow. 'nuff said

Well .... I've found torn paper packets from "Equal" sweetener among the pellet debris ... perhaps it's time to take tea with some neighbours ... *straps on gun vest ... pulls overcoat up around it*
Fenrir is still chained just now ... let me find the neighbour who offers me Equal instead of sugar though ...
