I'm finishing off 16 web pages of css coding that are due today in my Web Dev. class. I have a major case of code head since all the coding has to be done by hand.
Listening to H.I.M to take out my latent aggressions that I cannot exhibit here in the Library.
I do love CSS though.

Oooh...did somebody mention Supernatural??? ;D *Ahem* I mean...err...actually....I have no idea to what you are referring.... I'll get me coat...quick!...and the reason I like Supernatural is because I like almost all progs with vamps/demons/werewolves etc and has absolutely nothing to do with Jensen Ackles... ...the same way that liking 'Angel' has nothing to do with David Boreanaz *walks away whistling innocently*

I watch Supernatural just for the story ALONE. Has nothing to do with the super hot brothers that are the lead characters....nothing at all.....not in the slightest......hehehhehehhehe [runs towards the light] I'm finishing off 16 web pages of css coding that are due today in my Web Dev. class. I have a major case of code head since all the coding has to be done by hand. Listening to H.I.M to take out my latent aggressions that I cannot exhibit here in the Library. I do love CSS though. And I love CSS too JenGe - but I can fully sympathize with the coding-overload.....been there too but more so with PHP/ASP. So I walk into work and the guy at the security desk says I've looked really good the last few days - I said thank you but it made me think that I looked like crap the majority of the time. I won't lie - I fix myself up a bit more in the summer than in the winter - but still.....I guess I'm being the 'stereotypical woman' by changing a simple compliment into an issue - OMG MAKE ME STOP!!!!! [continues to run away]

I fix myself up a bit more in the summer than in the winter - My hubby loves when my winter clothes get packed away and my summer stuff comes out. He gets to see more of me & oogle 24/7. ;D Speaking of which we have had record highs here...95 deg. F. I feel like going to the beach.

It's 75 here today - 78 tomorrow but then back to 40's for the weekend. Going to be a cold day to go drinking for St. Patrick's Day on Sat. - I was looking forward to no jackets!!! LOL JenGe - I prefer the summer because it's less clothes which means less time picking out what to wear and you don't have to worry about forgetting your coat etc - ;D

LOL - Love that bunny! Dust-Kata.... Bahahahah!!! I think there might be a verse or story in this for my new site. ;D Also, I can't take credit for making that dust bunny. My hubby made one while he was in boot camp and I tried looking for the picture but didn't find it. So I just Googled "Dust Bunny" images and found over 4000 listed. Didn't know that so many people thought like him. Working on adding stuff to the site.

It's always amazing to me when I do find people that think like me - scary as that is ;D
Love the bunny though - it looks slightly evil like something outta Donnie Darko - of all your 4000 choices, you made the right one. ;D
ahahhahahahahhaha.....I pulled up Dust Bunny on google to see what there was and Lindsay Lohan came up on page 4 hahahaha.....that's almost as good as 'fire crotch' lol ;D

Yes...it has been a lovely day. I got to take my class out for PE.
I've managed to sort some of my Vista nightmares...updated my school software and messed around with .dlls so I've got it kind of working. Just transferring stuff from my psychopathic PC onto our 60gb external HDD ready for the new PC...going to take ages, but at least I've done some housekeeping and dumped ancient stuff (if only I could be so ruthless with my wardrobe)

My Vista upgrade went off flawlessly ... two hours and bingo! Seems to work OK ... I don't care for some of the new configurations. But I'll get used to 'em ... *sigh*

Watching Stranger Than Fiction - it's actually a pretty entertaining movie. Just got done watching For Your Consideration. It's sleeting outside right now - so it's good to be tucked in at home with a nice book and a 'world' to read.

Mine wasn't an upgrade...it came installed on the new beast. A lot of my education/smartboard applications are just not supported and MSN won't run atm. Outlook just hangs with the 'welcome' message. The rest of Office is fine and PSCS went without a hitch as did PowerDVD. Presently... ...arguing with an ebay company over our new shower door which won't fit... ...arguing with our travel company cos they've switched our Sorrento flight to another airport... ...deciding where to go for lunch to escape the arguing!

We all seem to be doing quite well here. It's great to hear from you again Manimal. What I'm doing. Well I just took a quiz for my on-line class and man it covered a bunch of stuff not in the book. I'm not sure how he expected us to know some of these things.

I know that here in the States, public schools and anything to do with them often run a generation behind when it comes to computer software. That's no insult ... it's just that school districts here are huge government organisations which run on budgets ... appropriations ... committees ... etc etc ... things move slower than in the business world. Hence, software applications often run behind as well. If I were a teacher, I believe I'd deliberately stay with Windows XP .... if I had to run Windows ... for two more years yet. (Actually if I were a teacher, I'd be running Mac.) Of course if your computer dies and you have to get a new one ... you HAVE to buy it with the latest and greatest loaded on ...

(Actually if I were a teacher, I'd be running Mac.) Of course if your computer dies and you have to get a new one ... you HAVE to buy it with the latest and greatest loaded on ... We do have the 'latest' hardware/software as we run both Promethean ACTIV boards and SMARTboards all running on Dell with XP.It's Promethean who haven't got their act together to support Vista. Worcestershire is one of the worst funded counties in the UK, unfortunately, but since our school is one of the more 'challenging' in the area, our headteacher and deputy are ace at getting blood out of stones! But yes...I'd have stuck with XP if I'd had the choice. My daughter's new laptop came with media centre/center and a link to order free Vista...she didn't bother! Just tranferred Adobe Illustrator...no problems at all. All the PCs/Laptops in the house networked 'without incident'. Best thing I've done is dump AOL for Mozilla...

Cool site - I real love your flash buttons - subtle but effective. Thanks ginxy, I'm quite proud of it. That effect on the buttons happened when I discovered a little thing they did not cover when I took FLASH last year...the "Blend" option. It creates some nice little effects. Not yet, I've had to put it a bit on the back burner but since the first collection is "Spring" I do need to get it done soon. My goal is before Easter. I'd show you guys more but right now I can't afford the domain name I want. As soon as this little FLASH job of mine is done and I get paid I'll buy it and start showing you guys. This is completely a design exercise and not really a site for everyone. What's interesting about the whole thing though is that my daughter and I were talking yeaterday and she's discouraged because she wants to be a writer. She's being told that people, "do not read any more" but my husband made a point this morning that they do read the internet. My site is almost like an interactive internet book. I think that's the best way to explain it but its mostly just to hone my FLASH skills and to play in the FLASH sandbox while showcasing to future clients what a FLASH site can do. It's not a traditional website by any means. Its more "concept" oriented.
