YOu know if you buy the DVD now, you'll be eating beans on toast for a fortnight, plus watching it when you could be studying, but you Just Don't Care. I have had this dvd in my possesion for 7 hours. I have now watched the film 2.5 times. Somebody stop me! Ah, I have to go. My toast is ready.

You lable everything that would be considered an offence EC-10. Sadly my hole room is covered in yellow Duct tape with EC-10 on it. I've only had this movie for 3 days. What will happen in a week? *evil laugh*

Within a week? YOu buy the DVD, and have posted so many times, you're a "resistance member" of the best fansite of all time. That's what happens, if you can't fight the infection off! Surrender to it I say! ;D

out of no apparent reason, you start telling the guy next to you, "through analysis of thousands of recorded gunfights, the clerics have determined that the geometric distribution of antagonists in any gunfight is a statistically predictable element.....gunkata treats the gun as a total weapon, each new position representing a maximum kill zone, inflicting maximum damage on the maximum number of opponents etcetcetc" and making him go "WTF?!" I'm uilty of this

You know you're an EQ fan when you walk into a room filled with people, take a quick glance around, and assess how you would go about taking them all out with your practiced gunkata moves.

...when you output the ENTIRE movie (music, speeches et al) on minidisc via digital cable and use it as soundtrack while running the threadmill.
...when, after falling in love seeing the movie downloaded in crappy .mpeg compression, you discover that is not available in your native language so you don't wait for it in your country and buy it in English on Amazon.com, then you buy it again when it IS available in your country. AND you make a backup copy of both.
...when you derive a sick sadistic pleasure going to your best friend home with the DVD after having teased him for weeks talking about this WONDERFUL new movie, let him play it right after the first shootout, then take back the DVD smiling and saying "I forgot about an appointment - I have to go!".
...when you stare coldly to your co-worker if he objects about your "optimizing the desk".
...when you start trying to apply Gun Kata in an Airsoft battle with you armed of a pair of Glock 18c versus a bunch of enemies armed with M4/AK/MP5 ...and you WIN!!!

...also, when you download the .mp3 bootleg, then you convert it in a double Audio CD AND make up a non-existent CD jewel case... ;D B.T.W. Many thanks to all the people that, with their stuff (soundtrack, wallpapers, images, fonts etc.) made this possible!

OH MY GOD!!! That is insane, man! You actually did that? That's awesome. Thank you - but it's really no a big effort, you must just have a decent inkjet printer, some adhesive cd-cover paper, a graphical prog and a normal attention span (the last was difficult for me, I admit!!! ;D)

When it has become a morning ritual to just play the "Equilibrium" and half-watch it doing your morning chores until you go to work or school.

...while doing your daily routine, you start classifying them as "offenders" and "not offenders"
BWAHAHAHAHAHA I would LOVE to see the expressions on their faces if you did that ;D ;D ;D
...especially if your guns are the spring-powered (cock it, shoot, cock it, shoot) type like mine are ;D

..when you start trying to find a doctor that will prescribe you Librium (the real drug that subdues emotion). And once you do have it, you're constantly telling people you need to get your "interval" adjusted.

I gave that a try a few months ago, and it sounded wrong... Did you do it? Did it sound right? What do you mean, sounded wrong? My phone's quite elderly but it sounds OK. Obviously it doesn't have the same impact as the sampled choirs etc but it's fine since there's a definite theme you can program in. I'd had Star Trek:TNG's theme for ages before EQ.
