hehe, when the movie first came out, i sifted through websites about scientific equilibrium and physics and crap for about an hour looking for a website with pics from the movie.
-as for my entry: you know you are an EQ junkie when every time you discuss any action film, you say it would be better if they were clerics.
real conversation:
"okay okay... what if the agents in the matrix were souped up grammaton clerics? what then?"
"the resistance is doomed..."

good lord im a dork...

You go to the CDV Off Topic forums and a guy called Kenny's user-title is Grammaton Cleric...and you immediately think: Hah, but he's not 1st Class yet!

Hey, everybody! I'm new to the forum, and definetely glad to be here! Anyways, you know you're an equilibrium fan when your friends are terrified of showing any emotion in front of you (and with good reason, after the last time they did...).

You like almost everything about this film so that you even start to think that a woman's announcing voice saying such lines as "The following item have been rated EC-10.....musical contents...blah blah" and her countdowning voice from the scene where Mary gets executed in the furnace, is beautiful. haha...

I'm not sure a sequel would work, I think we debated that one though, but you never know...some kind of prequel however.
*must shut down brain*

No no please don't let this film fall to Matrix-itis, otherwise known as spoiling a perfectly well-rounded film with sequels! You know you obsess about Equilibrium too much when you say things like 'No sequels! But the Gun Kata must appear in every action film from now on...'

You spend too much time reading all the EQ posts, fanfiction and downloading all the pics/videos/sounds you can, even though you have a 3,500 word essay due in less than 12 hours. The student's Union put on a showing on saturday. I'm dooomed, I tell you, doomed. Must... write... essay.... Hey I'll pretend my lecturers a Cleric. Now *there's* my motivation

And now my essays are done! ;D And the DVD of EQ is on sale for £17 at the local place. Do I buy it? Or shop for a week's food? The mundane aspects of mere survival v culture and art. Hmm. Descisons, descisions...

You know, you're an EQ fan, when... 1. The very first thing in the morning that you do is turning on your computer and checking the Resistance boards for new posts. 2. You hit the "Refresh" button all the time... 3. You wonder if the person wearing black, kind of Cleric-alike coat, standing nearby is also an EQ fan. 4. You mutter during the walk the lines from the movie ( in my case it was the dialogue between Mary and Preston from the first interrogation ) 5. You think about everyone, who - for example - reads a book: "He's a sense offender!" 6. You draw a Tetragrammaton symbol during a very boring lecture. 7. You get up at 6 am in order to watch the sunrise ( just to find out it is covered by a building standing nearby ) ... I'm guilty of all this.
