well today i saw American Wedding, i really didnt want to see it but oh well i was forced i thought it was aight of course it follows the typical american pie theme hot chicks, nice one liners, sick shit, u know typical stuff. but there was one scene that i would have to say was the funniest scene ive seen in any type of movie. maybe im just easily pleased but i think it was just hte funniest ive ever seen in any movie.

What about it?? I thought it was OK but something just didn't quite gel for me and I'm still not sure what it was. I'll have to go lay on my couch now and analyze this... Was it because the Hulk didn't appear real and integral enough? That was it for me.

I just really didn't believe there was anything going between Bana and Connely but air. I had a difficult time connecting with the characters and I'm still not sure why because I really like most of the actors in the film. It was an OK flick...just not an obsession one. The only one that's come close so far this summer is T3 (Terminator 3).

[shadow=red,left,300]So American Wedding was disappointing, wait what am I saying, I thought it was going to be crap, and it was...it lived up to all my expectations!! Yea! Went and saw Seabiscut, not a bad flick. It had a buffy reference of 1 with the casting of Danny Strong (Johnatan) as a jockey. Ok so I'm obsessed with buffy too, why else would I smile so much?![/shadow]

I've been thinking about seeing Seabiscut but I can't seem to be able to drag myself away from the computer long enough. Also the hubby won't go so I'll have to see it stag (or for a gal would that be "doe" ;D)

Gee, my radar must be broke...is it out in the theaters yet?? I have the DVD for it. Dont think its in the theaters in the US. I want to go see johnny english but i havent had the time to go see it. Rowan Atkinson in MR Bean is so funny. Anyone see the trailer for the new Jackie Chan movie? The amount of wires and stuff make it look like a jet li movie. I guess hes getting old and cant do the same stunts he used to.

T3 was a great surprise for me, because I went into it thinking I'd hate it since Cameron didn't direct. But it was really good!

Saw finally Tomb Raider II....hated it. It reminded me of a cross between a Mummy II & Bond flick. I honestly thought the first film was weak though it had some great moments ... the opening sequence and the bungy cord shootout...but IMHO Tomb Raider II was another sequel mess. Too bad because I really love the Croft character. This one may have killed her.

I went and saw S.W.A.T. last night, and that movie was amazing. I liked the story they had. It wasn't just a rehash cop story, it had a background and everything. And the action was top notch (but no where near Eq., obviously). It does deserve a viewing, tho.

I wanted to catch SWAT this weekend but couldn't due to entertaining relatives...(did make some new EQ converts though ;D)
I'll be escaping to the theater maybe on Monday or Tuesday. Farrell has a lot of charisma as an actor.

Farrell has a lot of charisma as an actor. I think Colin Farrell's been the highlight of a number of BIG films lately where he was just a supporting charactor. For example, he stole the show in Daredevil and acted Cruse of the screen in Minority Report. Just saw Pirates of the Carabbien (bet I spelt that wrong.) It's really great fun! Zombie Monkies! A mad Jonny Depp with a cockney accent! And Klaus Badelt's music score really does fit the whole "swashbuckling" atmosphere really well. Quote of the Movie: Orlando Bloom: "I made all these swords! And I practice with them 3 hours a day!" Jonny Depp: "You need to get a girlfriend, mate."

Ok, I saw SWAT...thought it was good but not great...filled the bill for what it needed to but not one I'll lose sleep over if I never see it again...(one spoiler grip at the bottom of the post) I did see some trailers though that had me jumping up and down in the theater. Underworld (new trailer) - Can't wait for this flick. (Secretly I'm a closet gothe girl...shhhhh!!...don't want the hubby to find out!! Borrowing a line from SWAT and making it my own..."I'm cheating on him with films." ;D) Once Upon a Time in Mexico - Timeline - Nice to see Richard Donner doing fantasy again. Absolutely love Ladyhawke. The Rundown - That has to be one of the funniest action teasers I've seen in along time. BAhahahahah!!!(wiping the tears from my eyes.) Looks like the good films aren't going to end with Summer this year. :::::SWAT SPOILER!!!::::: One bug...Why, why...disarm a handgun so I can be bored with the typical fist lopping to the death sequence?? Please give me that gun with the last round chambered...I know what to do with it!!

Anything to do with vampires. And werewolves. And your secret is safe with me. I'm a goth as well.
