I'm going to see Pirates over, and over, and over just to look at a 20 foot high Keira Knightley.... ;D ;D ;D My wife can come along to drool over Orlando Bloom.

Pirates was good, if a bit long. I really like Geoffrey Rush. He always adds class to things.

you know, i just really didn't like most of T3. i can't see the reasoning behind everyone saying it's a great movie. i thought the humor was forced and out of place, the characters lacking, the acting by the Tx horrible, the big truck chase scene terrible. if it wasn't for the last part of the movie where it finally picked up, it wouldn't be worth even a rental for me. it did get good at the end, everything once they got to the air base was good, almost felt like a totally different director and movie, but everything before that was a real stinker.

Oh, I actually thought it was a pretty good movie, but that's probably because I'm not a hard-core Terminator fan. I've seen the first and second movies, though.

Oh, I actually thought it was a pretty good movie, but that's probably because I'm not a hard-core Terminator fan. I'm actually a very hard core Terminator fan and I absolutely love the third instalment. I think a lot of it depends on how you view T2. If you see is as that action flick to end all action flicks then of course T3 will not live up. T3 has much more in common with T1. The pacing, the grainy filming, the emotional stuff is much more like the first film. (I'm still trying to figure out though where the heck they spent 200mil because it felt low budget to me.)

well i saw T3 with a bunch of my friends who are all terminator fans and we all agreed it was pretty good, like 8 outta 10 good... My favorite Terminator is the original but they all like T2 more... anyway we all thought T3 was pretty good.

well i saw Bad Boys 2 today i thought it was aight alot of action there were SOME funny parts but i felt it was to long I think I might actually skip this one...I'm not a big Bruckheimer fan though I thought Pirates was quite good. I don't think I've liked anything that Bay has done. I did catch Northfork yesterday...what an odd, wonderful film...actually quite sweet. I think it may be too painstakingly meticulous (slow) and out there for most people but I thoroughly enjoyed. Now I'll have to go rent the other Polish Brothers films and see what I've been missing.

Where to start.....Personaly, I loved The Hulk. I think the biggest complaint that Ive heard about it is that it took to long for Banner to turn (45 Minutes). Most of those people loved Spider-Man which makes me point out that Parker didnt turn until 55 Minutes into the film. Added to that that the Hulk isnt what one would call a "Superhero", but more of a tragic victim which no one that I talked to seemed to understand. Loved Terminator 3. Outstanding sequel. The chase scene with the crane has got to be one of the best filmed in years. Once again Arnold shows us why he's a scary lookin dude when dressed in leather and wearin his shades. Pirates was an awsome adventure. The CGI was seamless at the end for the big sword fights where they kept going in and out of the moonlight. Awesome. Had to see Bad Boys II again before I realy started to like it. First time I didnt enjoy it because of the other people in the theater. Every time someone got shot in the head (which is quite often) some retard has to shout "God Damn!!" or "That mutha f**** aint gettin up". Why are these people let out unsupervised? Loved LXG. Although there were alot of changes from the comic/graphic novel, it was awsome. Could have done without Tom Sawyer and Dorian Grey, but I can understand the production company's thinking that an american audience would need an american character to relate to. Even if it is misguided and wrong. Now they need to make Watchmen into a movie.

I saw 28 Days Later just a little while ago. It's basically Night of the Living Dead...or Night of the Comet...
it's all right for a lower budget film, there aren't any really new ideas introduced, but it is rather scary because of its real, in-your-face visual style.

Where to start? Terminator 3 - I watched the movie, but I think it didn't live up to expectations. The chase scene is a remake of T2! When watching T3 most scenes seemed to me like I was watching Terminator 2.5 - same idea, new cast and special effects. I'm a big fan of Terminator series. Still, nothing beats T2! LXG - I'm dying to see this. In Poland it will arrive in October. Oh well, another DivX comming up! ;D Hero - I've seen the trailer yesterday... This movie rocks! C'mon - why the Americans or Europeans can't make films like this!!! Underworld - could be a preety good vampire/werewolf mix. We will see in September...

HERO, what is this movie you speak of....... Well, here's the history of this film - after Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, the Chinease Communist Party decided that it will be great promotion for China, party, etc. etc. to film such stuff. What they did, was to invite all of world actors of Chinease origin, usually world-famous (including Jet Li, who plays in this movie), supply the big cash and stay away from the plot (you know, they are crazy about workers, communism, praise the party, etc.). The film tells the story from ancient China, when the country was divided into seven kingdoms engaged in home war. One king wants to unite every kingdom under his rule. Then we have three asassins, and Jet Li of course! I tell you, this movie will be BETTER than Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (why this lame Gladiator got an Oskar?). Watch out for "Hero"!

HERO is a very artistic film with a striking visual style. It's a slow movie though and not for everyone. I saw it some time ago and thought it was a poem of colour and motion. For those of you looking for Crouching Tiger: think less action and more drama.
What action there is, is quite good (if you appreciate the Chinese fairy-tale type of martial arts that borders on the mythical).

I watched "Hero" today ;D I just want to tell you that there is NO WAY this movie wouldn't get an Oskar for best foreign movie. NO WAY! It so great in it's every aspect, I just can't find words. And that's true, the ending surpried me a bit. Great movie, great actors. What are you waiting for? Run to the cinema! ;D

Anyone seeing Tomb Raider?? I was ill yesterday so I missed its opening but I might try to catch it today. I think that Lara Croft is a great character they just need to find her a decent script. That's kinda odd today...a character in search of a script... Besides this one had a different director, Jan de Bont (Speed, Twister) The last guy from what I hear didn't want any twists in the plot and I really think the film suffered because of it. So what are you guys seeing... Tomb Raider Seabiscuit Spy Kids EQ again ;D Other...

Went and say Tomb Raider last night and left with a headache. Trust me, youve all seen this all ready (If you have'nt youve been deprived). The first time it had Harrison Ford and was called Raiders Of The Lost Ark. Rent that and save yourself from the pain. But thats just my opinion.

[shadow=green,left,300]I tell you, I marched my smiling face right into Spy Kids 3-D and came out still smiling! It was cheesey, but really good cheese, like a well aged Brie. Anyway, still looking forward to Once Upon a Time in Mexico. By the way, Hello people, this is my first post.[/shadow]
