your Russian is very good))) My teacher thinks different about that... But thank you very much! If you're saying this it must be true. Russian's very difficult language. I think it's hard to speak Russian if you're not Russian. So, you're clever guy.

Well met, Recruit KatyaJC. Over here you'll see your desk ... pre-optimised of course. Your wall-locker is over there. Your training will begin with the next class in--oh, *consults double-dialled watch* ... five minutes. Make sure you've had your interval.

We've had a number of Russian recruits who displayed talent at Gun-Kata training. Whether it's the legacy of the famous KGB, or simply something in the chernozem and podsol that contributes to it, we're not sure. Personally, I suspect it's the golubtsy. I'm trying to have it added to the Monastery cafe menu.

You seems to be keenly aware of Russia... 8-)I think it also can be borscht. Would be really cool to have it in Monastery cafe menu! Hm, I think there are lots of talented Russians who could be recruited...but due to the poor propaganda they don't even suspect of their talents

Hm, I think there are lots of talented Russians who could be recruited...but due to the poor propaganda they don't even suspect of their talents Through the authority vested in me by Dupont Father, I task you, Cleric marty, with improving EQ propaganda among the Russian workers and peasants. It is up to the spearhead of students and intelligentsia to carry out this mission. And I can tell you about Father, she's all over the idea.

Well-met, Recruit monicaop. *starts handing stuff over* You have your PIU of course ... your grey coat ... your double-faced wristwatch ... your training manual ... your desk is over there, pre-optimised for your arrival. (I do not recommend re-arranging it.) As for Berettas ... you can begin training with them immediately, and we're confident you'll very soon earn the right to carry them always.

Hi all, I'm Gypsiebelle. I never saw the EQ movie as I never knew that it was even *at* the theaters. Anyway, I'm a fan of CB and his movies, of which I've not seen many of but did see The Dark Knight 3x. I'm not very good at these sort of threads. My hobbies are:writing, listening to music except for rap, reading, RPG'ing. That's about it. Later, Gypsiebelle

Hey Aedh, If feeling is bad and prozium is good, then wouldn't that be somewhat akin to the difference of being a Jedi and a Sith? To bring the SW equation into the mix? Because Jedi aren't supposed to feel, yet the Sith can. Just a bit confused here and trying to figure everything out. Gypsiebelle

Because Jedi aren't supposed to feel, yet the Sith can. Just a bit confused here and trying to figure everything out. Gypsiebelle There's plenty of discussions of this sort of thing in the threads in the "Resistance Discussions" board ... such as this one. And others .. "Feeling;" "...sex?" and "Does Prozium make them slow?" Etc. Of course, seeing the movie is the basic starting point to understanding the discussions. I'm all for feeling, but only for people on my side. You have to remember my job title: "Evil Genius In Residence." I'd be the local equivalent of Darth Sidious, so naturally I'm all for crushing those pesky resisters and rebels, spiking their heads up over the gate, and having some law and order around. That way the Prozium-dosed mob can go about slaving for us, while we indulge ourselves discreetly. Naturally, I have smooth and convincing explanations for everything. All you have to do is listen ... listen carefully ... keep your eyes on the shiny spot ... yes. Excellent ... ;D

...lol, I guess at least most of the EQ fans share the idea that "feeling is bad"! Of course in the movie it is exaggerated too much, but the fact that there are too many emotions put by nature in human beings - seems to be obvious ;D

...lol, I guess at least most of the EQ fans share the idea that "feeling is bad"! Of course in the movie it is exaggerated too much, but the fact that there are too many emotions put by nature in human beings - seems to be obvious ;D Feeling isn't bad, I'd say. But our feelings evolved a million years ago to help us survive in a primitive, jungle environment. Early humans had a double disadvantage; both low reproduction rates, AND lack of claws, fangs, speed, and/or armour. Our ability to think and feel enabled us to survive and even master the environment. But men and women--for example--still approach each other like the woman was a gatherer living in a small, close-knit, semi-migratory group, while the man was a hunter with a life-expectancy of about 24 years, living in a restless band chasing mammoths. Men's feelings toward each other to-day are often exactly those of when two bands cooperated to slay a beast and it turned out there was only enough beast for one band. Feeling isn't bad, Cleric Marty ... excessive feeling is bad. We need to tame it, bring it under control like we did with our environment. This is where Prozium supplies the key. And this is where primitive-minded, rock-tossing louts (and lout-ettes) like the Resistance need to get the memo. The Cleric is the last line of defence against returning to a world where jungle instincts have free vent, with a push-button that can obliterate an entire country ready and inviting, next to the twitching finger.
