Screen Gems(Sony) has to hire better people for their trailer, they could have used the creator of this trailer instead(for example) Somebody invested many hours in creating this awesome fantrailer. WATCH ME

Hey champ! Glad to have you on the boards! Been a fan of your work for a while now.
The UV trailer is definately your best yet....your CG stuff is absolutely brilliant - what did you use? Was it AE or something else?

This trailer made me realize one thing.
This movie is a sleeper. It will become a cult classic. Of course, some time is needed to digest flaws and everything, but I bet it'll be loved a LOT more on DVD.

I will compare how I see it's success to Big Trouble In Little China. When Big Trouble In Little China was released, it was a complete bomb. Panned by everyone. Today, the film is a John Carpenter classic. In 10 years, this film will find it's audience Well, actually, I hope the first original Kurt Wimmer cut is release before then.

I just got finished watching Escape from New York and I was thinking the exact same thing.

You know, if that fan trailer was cut by about a minute (cutting out all the spoiler stuff which there is WAY too much of), and perhaps maybe some slight reshuffling here and there, then we could have the perfect trailer to this movie.
As it stands, it's okay with brilliant moments (like the way the trailer ended with the date appearing on her sunglasses). But it's the heavy spoiler stuff that prevents this from being a great trailer (and the fact that it's too long) and that I can't show it to anyone who hasn't seen the movie because of it.
BTW, awesome jobs on the So Close trailer (which is better than this one I think). Shame though that you weren't told that the name of "Sue" is incorrect before you made it. The name of "Sue" was made up in the subtitles. That's not her name in the movie actually.
If anyone checks out So Close, see it with the English dub. I highly recommend it as I thought they did an outstanding job with it (the people really look like they are speaking English). In fact, I prefer to watch that mvie in English, it's that good. That dub on that movie makes the looping that was done in Ultraviolet a joke.

<--- The best smilie in the world Thank you That is indeed a spectacular trailer, it made me want to watch the movie even more. Ooh, and love our music selection... I dont know the first one (Which one is it?), but the second one I have on a video from the Sensation event in Amsterdam. (Also as an intro sequence And in between, Voodoo & Serano - Bood is pumpin (Is this the 2005 edit? I have yet to find that) Ooh and I heard one more familiar tune a bit in between it all, but it might just be the second tune, only further in. (It bothers me that I recognise most of them, but are unable to dechiper which ones they are)

Feel free to keep digging around my CD collection. Your CD collection? You stole MINE! Here's the complete credits for music and sample listings: Music Credits: 00:06 - JunkieXL - Nightmares00:08 - Voodoo & Serano - Slice00:37 - Sensation - The Anthem 200401:02 - Voodoo & Serano - BloodIsPumpin' (Club Mix)01:21 - Voodoo & Serano - BloodIsPumpin' (Azzido Da Bass Remix)01:43 - Mike NRG - Lost in Dreams (DJ Sequenza Remix)01:43 - Voodoo & Serano - This Is Acid02:17 - Voodoo & Serano - BloodIsPumpin' (Club Mix)03:21 - Voodoo & Serano - BloodIsPumpin' (Club Mix)03:23 - Gary D - Intro for LTDSamples: "Blood" voice sound fx appears throughout. From Voodoo & Serano - Blood Is Pumpin' (SingleMix)01:38 - Sam Punk - Drugstore Cowboy (Sam Punk'z Lost on LSD Club Mix). Song timecode: 2:42 03:12 - JS Ten - Spiritualized (Bazzwizzards Remix)03:18 - Megadeth - Countdown To Extinction. Song timecode: 0:15 As for if Blood Is Pumpin' is the 2005 version or not, I'm not sure. I don't even know if there is a difference, since the new 2005 release looks to be a re-packaged 2002 release with a different cover. And, if you do find/look for Blood is Pumpin' be sure to get the one of the "Cold Blood" album. I have the song on 3 different CDs (including the single) and all the mixes sound different (they are the same song. Just the bass/treble levels sound different). The album one sounds the clearest and has the best bass. Later

Really? Sounded like at one point you threw a bit from the Matrix score (when Shu Qi yanks her clothes and bungies off the building). Thanks.

BTW, can I make a suggestion for a future trailer? Try Running Scared. The movie was so awesome visually (all the great angels, camera set ups, editing, etc...) but the offical trailer sucked. The movie deserves a better trailer than that.

Great piece of work. But as a trailer, I wouldn't like it cause it gives away the entire film almost beat for beat. Works as a great summary of the film though.
I enjoyed it more then the actual film actually. (but i enjoyed the original trailers more then the film as well.)
