i didnt mean to ofend you but shooting when you cant see your target is wild firing, you have no way of knowing where that shot will actuly go. if you realy want to practice this stuff you shold probly rent an exivator and have them deliver alot of sand so you can make a big pit so no shots will go anywhere you dont want them to, it wouldnt cost that mutch money. i think than you could get a better idea of what it takes becaus real recoil and real muzzle blasts are envolved you need to become acostom to that kind of thing in order to be able to use your weapons efectivly

I believe what Rymel is saying is that, it would not be wild shooting because you wouldn't be shooting at random places that is not in your vision in the slightest. That would not on be dangerous, but more importantly in a close-quarter combat situation, that would be a very costly and stupid waste of ammunition. The effective way to be able to fire in a 360 degree arc is to constantly be moving and to rely more on your peripheral vision rather than your tunnel vision, like most normal/Law enforcement people do. I may be misinterpreting what he is saying. Correct me if I am wrong. btw Rymel, did you get my last email? I got no response man. Email or pm me and let me know what's up.

dave, no harm done. as for demon's post, mostly right. i'm talking with the mentality that if we're to treat gunfighting as a martial art, we should be keeping certain tenets in mind while discussing it. martial arts deals a lot with spatial awareness, and not always having visuals of the targets. mostly applied in kung fu, it deals a lot with having only a general idea of where your targets may be, and if you miss, to be able to adjust accordingly. obviously the latter part has to be fine tuned for a firearm since we don't have say, a staff where if we miss we can just swing it. but you know what i mean. in regards to recoil, i talked a lot about that on and off forum with trustkill and esben, it would play heavily into the core of the style, because it cannoy be ignored and for the most part shouldn't be ignored or compensated out. i mean why waste what's given to you? byproduct or not, it would definitely be a major factor in redirection of the weapon and overall movement. and i don't mean constantly firing in a 360 degree arc. rather, picture yourself in a sphere (a la super monkey ball, lol), and you can fire anywhere in that sphere within reason. that's what i meant. obviously it's worthless to only fire in a single plane. but yea.
also about that email....doh! i lost my net at home and i've been checking my email everywhere else and it kinda got lost...will respond soon. sorry about that!

there you go again rymel, flipping out for no reason at all:
"YO. how bout you stop treating me like an imbecile and realize what SITE you're on."
i mean seriously. these dave and dan guys are probably the only ppl that have ever visited this msg board who know wtf theyre actually talking about lol. then you flip out on one of them in some childish attempt at scaring him away. Ooo! he might jeopardize "your gun kata". You always speak about these ideas you have discussed with others like trustkill but "just haven't posted them yet". Well post them already Mr. Knowitall. Lets see if you can put your money were your tremendously over proportionate mouth is.
And as far as me "not contributing" anything, thats all fine and good. Watching you get all hot and bothered is 10x more entertaining.

actually i you read the thread at all you'd know what that was in referral to, and it was appropriate. so how bout you stop trollin and actually contribute. and i don't remember talking about 'my gun kata' in here. i'm not going to contribute just so you can be entertained, so kiss my ass. and who's hot and bothered? it was a minor issue, which again IF YOU READ you'd know it was all settled, not 'scared away'. on the same fucking page we're on no less. really man, HOW OLD ARE YOU? you've just been hiding behind bushes throwing rocks when you see an opportunity. they're not even flames, they're just dud responses.
in the end, i have no idea what the point of your post even is, considering i have a contribution directly above it.

Hey we dont need to fight, I think we can disagrea without resorting to cheap insults. I realy like the idea of gun kata, Im reluctant to try it out thow becaus i know people would have issues about me firing off handguns in all directions i think i will have to get these arosoft guns, does anyoen have any recomendations about good ones to get? i dont know alot about them. i think if you could get some kind of marker rounds and just practice hitting things without using the sights all the time, that would og along way to developing the mind/gun relationship you need to be able to take advantage of the spatial awareness your talking about. with swords you have an arc that you can cut through but a gun only has a line of fire. one point to hit with. i dont think its posible to learn anything like the kind of skils desplayed in the move without spending years of your life in devoted practice with a handgun, if someone is willing to spend 5 hours a day for the rest of there life practising i think we may see promising results but inless you devote the time im sure you will find that you will get no where.

sorry but i hold no punches for trolls. 8 posts and half of those were just bein a general bitch on my own thread about how i shouldn't decide what goes in a style of the art i was working on. sorry but no. anyway i agree that we won't see results without actual practice, but most of us don't have airsofts or the space required to do this (neighbors would frown if you did it with paint rounds in your backyard and hit houses). it's okay though, we can figure out most of it by discussion and smooth out discrepencies with actual practice.
i'm not one to recommend any particular type, but gas operated would probably be best since they'd work like normal guns, no need to constantly recock them. but they're expensive, so i plan to buy cheap spring operated ones first, to see if i'm really serious about it.

That is pretty f*cking obscene. I don't think that belongs here.
I actually took the time to see what other posts you made on this board before this - for a moment I thought you might be a spammer or troll. Please prove me wrong.

jen, apologies for the mini-flamewar...everyone else i'm sorry for wasting threadspace with whatever got deleted and all that. No worries Rymel, it was just your nasty typical trolling sex pixs. Meant to shock & annoy...nothing else. I'm sure people can find plenty just like it on Google's image search. It has no place here.

oh heavens forbid all your virgin eyes glanced over a *gasp* cartoon sex pic! :0 nerds That is not the point. Did you or did you not read and agree to the following restriction when registering to this board?? (Twice now) You chose to violate the agreement not subtly but blatantly so I chose to blatantly enforce it. Your shock trolling has no place on this board. If you persist you will continue to be banned. The choice is yours.

Hey bumrush, I don't want to sound overly rude, but there is something I have got to ask. Can you read? This forum is about GUNKATA, do you know that? If so, show me one single thing that you have contributed at all. Your random, childish trolling excluded. I mean one single constructive thing about GUNKATA that you have posted in this GUNKATA forum. I apologize to others if this message seems a little to harsh or flamelike. I am just asking an honest question. Rymel I will write you back some time tonight, after I get off work. I have been very busy lately.
