during the execution scene preston swithches frrom
SAFE-safty on SEMI- like a normal pistol or 3-4 or 5 round burst AUTO- full auto
and about the clip size could lower the rate of fire to conserve ammo on the german ww2 MP40 the was a device which lowerd the rate which made it more controleable and saved ammo seeing as its the future who says the bullets are 9mm parabellum there are shed load around the bullets in the clip could be 4.6mm thats fired from the HKMP7 PDW that fits in the grip and that is 40 rounds 9mm para r not the only ones around

or how about magazines that safely encase small rifts in time and space. on the other side of that blackhole is a bunch of machinery to manufacture ammunition and dispense it into the magazine, thus the cleric would never have to reload unless he wanted to.
-see as it is a movie... and we will never know what sort of ammo they use... this is probably as valid a statement as any of the others that people could make about the tetragrammaton's preference in ammunition types. give it up, people. all we need to know is: the beretta 92f is chambered for 9mm para ammunition. unless otherwise extensively reworked to hold other ammo sizes (the low budgeting of this movie would make this an extreme and wasteful effort) it is safe to say that the guns used in this movie still use 9mm parabellum ammo.

I agree with Trustkill.
One can see the size of the bullets when Preston throws the two gyro mags down the hall, 9mm parabellum no question.
