Still playing Depeche Mode's Ultra very loudly in the car though. 'Just Can't Get Enough' of them ;D I like the remix of ...um..."Enjoy the Darkness" was it? ...I think so... that Mike Shinoda of Linkin Park did for Depeche Mode's remix CD. Wicked. Sadly, I don't have it though.

Right now I'm listening to Boondock Saints. I know that it's not an CD...another great film without a OST release!!! Anyway, it always helps me when I have a migraine which I currently do...

I was only looking at that yesterday, but didn't buy it for some strange reason. Might have to go back and get it. BTW: It's 'Enjoy the Silence', but I'm not being picky.

An answer from a new kid in town... just now it's mix of Generation terrorist by Manics, Broken by NIN and my own "worst of" RHCP, known to this world as "Song trippin' with my favorite allies..." ;D

This is great you guys, I can get info to new music, which I'm always looking for. I listen to Indie 103 here, it's a great station. They play stuff like Incubus, Muse, The Killers. I also love Staind and Linkin Park (Stup), which should come as no surprise, you know I'm a Metallica fan....anyway, now I have some new stuff to check out and I've only read 3 pages of this thread!
But it's not playing in my CD player anymore....my husband bought me a Dell DJ for my birthday, it's 15 gigs which is quickly filling up. I think I would have preferred an IPOD, the software sucks but if I mess around I can get songs on eventually. Time to go check out some new tunes!

Hm...Incubus...it seems they changed on their new CD.... I can tolerate the Killers, I think. Now...Staind...They're coming out with a new CD soon, and I can't wait. Mike did an interview with Guitar World and he was saying that he did a whole bunch of different tunings, but it's still the heaviest CD they've done this far. Sounds fun. ....I want an mp3 player...My parents said they'd split the cost of one (like...70 bucks total) with me, but I only have 20 bucks. I was gonna pay them back, but dad said no. So I'm screwed. Meh. I'll wait.

Hmm. . . Nothing in my CD player at the moment, but I am listening to music on my computer. <G> At the moment "Somebody Told Me" by The Killers. Pretty awesome song. I think I'll put on Linkin Park next--they rock. ^_^

Hey that new Staind sounds cool, I can't wait, I really love them. Hang in there with the MP3 thing, I think prices will go down eventually since so many companies are making them now. Keep saving though, your parents sound pretty fair. My dad used to do the same thing with me when I was a kid, if I saved half for something (from my allowance, that is, we're talking I don't even remember how young), he'd fork out the other half. Now if only I could remember what it is I bought back then! I can't and how annoying!
Take it easy!

Well, I need not worry about an mp3 player anymore. Dad did get it. I just owe him ten bucks now (I already gave him 20). It works quite well thus far; the earphones scare me: I think I can hear the picks hitting the strings on the guitars...
Sadly, I'm kinda sick right now (I don't recall ...reversing the eating process... so much in my entire life, and it was basically in one day), so I haven't been able to enjoy it. I'm gonna toss some tunes on it now though, just in case I finally go back to school tomorrow. It's been three days. I should try to go learn stuff...

Just did a quick scan throught the this thread and I saw some good picks and suggestions, even a few I'll probably end up buying....but I wonder...
Has anyone here ever heard of, or enjoy, TECH N9NE? I'm not a big fan of rap, but this guy is easily one of the best lyricists I've ever heard. Even his basic booty tracks have insane ryhme schemes! And he's fast as all hell, not as fast as Twista, but he has better melodies, and you can understand what he's sayin....
Sorry folks, I'm contractually obligated to talk about Tech N9ne daily as part of my membership dues with the I.P.G. (International Pimp Guild)....
But seriously, Tech N9ne owns you...

Now listening to Ulver "Svidd Neger" ( don't ask me what this title means, I don't speak Norwegian) It's a short but great soundtrack!

"I'm a scatman" by Scatman John.
Absolutely insane... hilarious too (It was in the movie Nothing to Lose, during the flaming shoes part).

Blue Skies (Irving Berlin). Came from seeing Star Trek: Nemesis on cable last week ;D
On my mp3 player I have a weird mix of Jimmy Eat World, All American Rejects, The Ataris, Vienna Teng, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, and Joe Satriani, and two songs from the '80s - Cutting Crew's One for the Mockingbird and Icicle Works' Understanding Jane.

I'm not familiar with the film you mention, but I'm sadly familiar with the song, which was a big hit in the UK many years ago. It's a truly terrible song, but in a weird way it stirs many memories from my younger years (which, by the way, were most definitely NOT spent listening to Scatman John.) If you like this song, you should listen to his other, less-successful follow-up: "Scatman's World".

My 'Newsies' soundtrack! ;D It's been in my CD player almost constantly ever since I got it. hehe. What can I say? I adore it.
I think I'll turn on 'Phantom of the Opera' after this though. . . Haven't ever listened to all of that, but from what I have heard it's wonderful. ^_^

The cd "tengsl" by I svörtum Fötum (guess int would be something like "dressed in black" in english) Quite OK icelandic band, I do recommende the Icelandic band "Jaguar" if you like a wee bit of 70's funk.
