Thank you all very much for your comments. Most appreciated as always. This chapter has been a while, mostly 'cos I didn't have as much time this year with teaching full time.
The story's actually pretty much all written...but needs serious editing and revisions as I go through it. I hope the next chapter will be done soonish...I'm just tweaking the action scenes.

I am so crap with the feedback thing. I am sorry I hadn't left any before. I caught up on the fourth part this weekend, Libby. Like your other stories, it's wonderful. Lussshhhh! P Plenty of intrigue - yummy ;D Was disappointed that the next installment wasn't there when I clicked on that '5'.

OK, I fixed it. I'm sooooo sorry about that Libby!!!
I've also gone through this thread and updated all the links to point to the EquilibriumFans site instead of Freewebs.

Once again Libby's dynamic character interaction and sumptious use of vocabulary steals the show, the limelight and small furry pink things that were hiding under the duvet.
Danger: Wolf is not quite well, so beware odd rants, strange terminology and excessive use of the word - wurgh.

Danger: Wolf is not quite well, so beware odd rants, strange terminology and excessive use of the word - wurgh. I'm almost afraid to ask...but is it the Lurgi or what you're taking for it? Whatever it is...wurgh or no wurgh...your even alluding to small pink furry things is of serious concern! Hope you feel better soon!

The long and short of it, on Saturday I ended up quite delerious and throwing up (that has gone away now) -- no drink was involved but all the after effects of a vicious hangover were thrown my way. The pink Elizabethan dancing monkeys were another thing entirely and I was so glad I was with a few of my friends and Hellion for that. I put that down to watching a few episodes of Spaced and being completely out of my tree thanks to this flu virus *hugs*

ACK! I'm so sorry it's taken me this long to get round to this; things have just been beyond hectic lately with moving and stuff. Anyway: YES! A great installment, action packed and fantastic as usual! I can't wait for Chapter 7!

Awesome work. I'll start Chapter Four shortly, but very well done. Certainly much more 'meat' than my little work had in it. I was almost inspired to do something similar-- a sort of "after the ending" type story-- but I didn't feel secure enough in grasping the situation by the horns. However, I fully intend to read this story up to current as well as other EQ pieces here. Just because there's no sequels or prequels doesn't mean we can't have fun with that little world, right?

Ye might want to check out Ashes, since that takes place post EQ...in fact it takes place right after Preston's little look out into Libria's skyline at the window.

I can't believe how long it's taken me to finally read all the posted chapters... because this is addictive. The suspense is fantastic, and hmmmm, I have a few theories about what's going on and what's going to happen... but knowing Libby, she'll probably prove me wrong.
I also love the bits and pieces of humour here and there. Beethoven never ceases to make me chuckle. Those scenes light up the mood just to the right extent.
More? Soon? Please?

Thanks reveria...much appreciated. Chapter 7 is with Jen atm and I'm afraid there's no humour in this one and Kyra's fragile happiness is about to be tested...
Really looking forward to seeing your fic on the site...I know Jen will get it up there soon...

That's coming fairly soon. I've been working on a number of things, as well as plotting the next half of Fate's Hand. I'm not sure in Cross' story if the world will be ready for Pandora Foxx quite yet - but she's on the horizon, as well as the new incarnation of Death herself :>

Really looking forward to seeing your fic on the site...I know Jen will get it up there soon... oh noes *grabs dear Beethoven and hides under the bed* don't be too cruel to poor Kyra, yeah? yeah, I'm looking forward to it myself... with some nervousness. In fact, I had a dream the other night in which Jen personally flew down to Australia to tell me my story sucked and that she wasn't going to put it on the site ;D

In fact, I had a dream the other night in which Jen personally flew down to Australia to tell me my story sucked and that she wasn't going to put it on the site ;D Not a chance!! I'm just extremely busy at the moment and can bearly find the time to do anything (even ran out of clean towels yesterday). I'll be catching up here soon once I catch up with the rest of my life...I hope... (I only have time to post on the boards right now since I'm back in class and the teacher is talking.)

I know, I'm just kidding. Don't worry, I'm happy to wait until the first one's up and keep writing in the meantime so I'll have a bit of a puffer zone from June to September (when I'll be travelling). We all appreciate the effort you put into the site, and besides, patience is a virtue. I just found it extremely amusing to have a dream like that literally the day after I emailed the story to you. my brain has serious self-esteem issues, I tell ya. ;D *sends some relaxing "sunny Aussie" vibes your way*

Thanks Janus. Wolf, Judas and I all have our visions of Libria after the revolution and it's great to read others' take on what befalls Preston et al. reveria is about to have her new fic unveiled...a prequel no less (I've read the first two chapters and they rock!) KW's pared down little gem allows endless possibilities to be explored in what we seem to have dubbed the EQniverse. Long may we see new works of fiction!

One of the things I love about EQ is that it has so many variations on a theme, the content is always fresh and interesting. Heck, even a far-future EQ would be very interesting...

I frankly admit that I forgot about this story for a while, until someone bumped this thread. After reading Chapter 6 I can only say one thing: good job again, can't wait for No. 7 - especially given the fact that No. 6 ended in a very interesting moment.
