If there was an EQ special edition released down the line what would you like to see.....
--the film in DTS sound and Dolby EX 6.1 --the same commentaries are fine but maybe get the cast involved for a third track --deleted scenes --the trailer (UK promo spots too even) --storyboards (even though Jen has these on her awesome site) --making of "gun kata" --making of the film (basically a longer featurette) --cast biographies --poster artwork & production photos --the script --a look at the FANS only better than the stupid one on the Matrix Revisited disc... --DVDRom with weblinks to Jen's site maybe our fan fictions
ummm....well that covers alot hopefully I left something for others to come up with.....and u know I got to thinking...despite the film not being supported, this is a possiblillity....Dimension ahs done quite a few double dips over the years and they usually do quite nice ones...I love THe Crow special edition they put out....so maybe we willg et it one day if the film finds the following we are all hoping it will.... ;D

I'd like to see....
- All trailers, TV spots, promo material (posters, press kit, etc.)
- Gunkata explored inside and out, from Wimmer
- Cast interviews on their filming experiences
- Crew interviews about their roles
- Superbit treatment!
That's all I can think of at the moment.

I would love to see deleted scenes if not even a director's cut. Wimmer mentioned something on one of the commentaries about putting a scene back in if I remember correctly.

I would want to hear more from Bale in a SE dvd... He played Preston perfectly and I would like to hear his thoughts about the characters.. I'd also like to hear what he thinks about the matrix/1984/farenheit 451 ets. comparisons.

we need to get wimmer on these forums, although i dont know how computer savvy he was. if he could hang out here directly he could probably get alot more info than just getting them secondhand
but yeah, what must be is a longer making of, deleted scenes, and anything and everything about gun kata
considering this thing is selling faster than hotcakes maybe there will be a special edition

I would definitely love to see all those things you all mentioned put on a SE dvd, if they make one, that is. The deleted scenes would be great to have on there. I think, if I remember correctly, Wimmer said something about a scene where Preston accompanies DuPont to his office, but never gets to go in (or something like that). I would also love it if they had a longer interview with Christian Bale- that would be awesome! ;D

I REALLY want a special edition of EQ... I'm doing my best to spread it, though most of my friends (like myself) tend to like strictly art and foreign films. I'm not quite sure why I love EQ, i didn't even like the matrixc in comparision to it's lower-budgeted higher-quality hk/japanese forebearers (that's the extent of my Matrix discussion here, I won't say anything again, I hope my opinion doesn't upset anyone) but i do, and I probably always will. Wimmer's audio commentary made me love him, except that it was a first time director at times telling people exactly how scenes in films should be shot... which stuck out to me, since he seemed very humble through the rest of the commentary. Still, he's an amazing visionary who made something huge and amazing out of an astonishingly small budget. I can't wait to see what he does next.
I'd like a longer interview with Wimmer on his ideas of the world, maybe even some re-done CGI for the couple of occasions when it's really painfully bad. For the most part, though, I agree entirely with nouseforaname's wish list on the dvd.

I'd like to hear a commentary featuring the actual actors.. it'd be nice to hear about the movie from their point of view.

There will be no superbit treatment since superbit is a sony product. It would be great if they gave it the infinifilm treatment at least.
