Hiya EQ experts,
I'm stuck on a research issue in my fanfic.
Are there any blue prints of the Hall of Justice anywhere? If Preston and Jurgen are going to storm the building, I'd like to be sure of where to send them. They'd have questions like Where are the council chambers? and Are there any personal offices to hole up in? etc.
So does any one know what the layout of the Hall of Justice looks like?
Thanks!

Hiya EQ experts, I'm stuck on a research issue in my fanfic. So does any one know what the layout of the Hall of Justice looks like? Thanks! It looks like whatever you want it to look like... ;D You're writing a fanfic, not an official guidebook. I needed to get my character to the rotunda and 'Father's' domed office, so I just made it up, including a 'hidden' elevator. I invented offices, annexes, routes to various areas. It's your story, use what works for you!

What she said. Fortunately, EQ isn't like Star Trek where you'll get professional geeks jumping all over your case because you didn't get a doorway right. Likewise, I cheerfully invented everything, sort of vaguely based on the movie's style (long corridors seem to be much in fashion) ... and no one's ever complained. Well not about my architecture anyway.

If you want to go completely OCD about it, you could look up the building in Italy that they shot in. Also take a look at the Hall of Mirrors mod for inspiration/reference.
Frankly, making it up is easier...especially since it's fanfic and not "The Hitchhiker's Guide to EQ."

Speaking of fan-fiction and needed information, is there a place somewhere that shows just exactically what the Nethers look like and where they would be in relation to where the Clerics are and work? I'm well aware that it doesn't have to be *perfectly* perfect but as I've not seen the movie, any help would be appreciated, Gypsiebelle

I appreciate that, really, I do, but I'm not exactly quite *that* talented with regards in that area of writing or creating at least not by anyone's standards, least of all my own. That's why I was asking for assistance in the first place as my ideas can get pretty wild at times, trust me on that one. Gypsiebelle

Is there a reason you haven't been able to see the film? It's available pretty cheaply on DVD now and can probably be downloaded. it's an absolute must. I don't want to spoil the film for you in any way, but here's a couple of pics which might give you an idea...

Thanks very much that helps me out bunches, Libby Yea, there is a reason that I've not seen the movie yet. I'm not sure if there are any strobe lights in it as those aren't very good for me at all. I dare not risk seeing it at all if there are. Yours, Gypsiebelle

There are strobe type effects near the beginning, during what we've come to call the 'darkroom scene', where Preston goes all gunkata and whenever he does this there are also bright muzzle flashes. Don't know much about this so maybe a friend/expert who knows what's what could review it for you.

I'll just have to add EQ to the list of movies that I can't and better not watch. Are there anyother pics of the Nethers other than those that you showed me already? Those really helped me to get a very good feeling as to what it looked like as opposed to what I'd thought they were like. Yours, Gypsiebelle

Just had a thought...
I really don't know how many times I've seen the film, but mostly the DVD lives in or on top of my PC and I just tend to dip into it. I use PowerDVD and scroll through scenes often frame by frame. if you looked at it this way, you wouldn't have to 'see' it...you could view it almost as a set of stills, controlling the scenes and avoiding the strobe effect at the start altogether by just missing out the scene...

Hmm...that sounds quite interesting, Libby. What exactly is PowerDVD? I've never heard of that before. That actually could definetly cause it go either way for me. Gypsiebelle
