Haven't seen the film yet. JenGe already mentioned EQ contrasts. But I particularly liked this comment: Unlike the film ‘Equilibrium’ that set parameters for permissible emotion, ‘The Invasion doesn’t clarify the extent for keeping up the facade. I noticed Carol flashing faint smiles and darting her eyes around frantically in the company of the possessed.I thought this was particularly interesting because: 1. People usually complain that EQ isn't consistent with emotion! So yay to The India Times! 2. Someone mentioned EQ in reference to a higher profiled film. That is very, very interesting!! And this is the correct place to post it. Coke for aikidoal... It is nice to find that people are understanding the subtleties of hypocrisy. I can't tally the many times I've had to point this out to the "plot hole" fanatics. It makes me wonder if anyone reads Animal Farm these days.
