dvd.ign.com/articles/399/399853p1.htmlHere's the link. A good review if not bursting at the seams with praise (I don't think Equilibrium is the BEST movie, but I love it for what it is - an emotional movie with kik ass action). But anywho, here's my question. I've had a very bad vcd version and a high quality Xvid version in my possesion, and I believe I know the movie fairly well. However there are a few screen caps from the review that I don't recognise: Can anyone tell me if the DVD contains a different edit than I've seen or am I just smoking too much crack? BTW great site jen, it's refreshing to have a fan site with so much content! New stuff all the time and neat lil tidbits to be discovered upon repeated viewings. Is excellent. epple - epplegacks@hotmail.com

Since I currently don't have a copy of the film and my memory is over two weeks old I can't help you on this one. Maybe someone else here knows or I'll check it for you when I get the DVD.

Oh my gosh!! I almost forgot to express my appreciation for such an awesome complement!! (SMACK!!) Thank you so much it means a lot to me. I really have to also in turn thank all the fans and Kurt Wimmer myself though. Without their contrabutions or his film and what he's said about it, there wouldn't be much here. Like my message board title states I really feel like a mere "storage officer." - Jen

Hey! Didn't expect a thank you but I'll take it. Just thought I should give credit where credit is due. BTW if you use some kinda chat proggy and are super patient I can get ya copy of the film, unless you're really really patient and can wait for that DVD. I'm a bastard and I can't. Sorry Kurt. Can't really blame me though, when a candian can't see it he takes extreme measures. I'll delete my copy and break my VCDs as soon as I have the DVD in my hands. But yeah, l8rz Jen. Keep up the good work, expecially when it comes to what Wimmer is up to next. I need to know. epple - epplegacks@hotmail.com

I'm a film purist...I'll wait...Its difficult enough realizing that I'll probably never get the chance to see EQ again in a theater. I can't even image what it's like knowing that you'll NEVER get a chance to view it that way at all!! I may have had to take extreme measures myself. Thanks for the offer.

I bought the DVD yesterday and have watched the movie twice ;D I haven't seen the second scene, but the first scene takes place just before Preston leaves the city to go and free the puppy ....

No idea - but it came out on 3rd May here in Hong Kong.
A lot of movies seem to come out early over here on DVD even though they take forever to hit the big screens. Equilibrium never even made it to the big screen over here (or Australia I don't think).
The copy I have is a legitimate Zone 1 version.

OK found the second scene now. It's when Brandt drags Preston into DuPont's office. He is hunched over, looks up and then you see the long hall way with the guards standing in the rows.
