We are planning to watch this Godard classic. I coughed it up on a general search for classic sci-fi to watch and was surprised to discover that no one seems to have brought it up here, as its plot seems to be somewhat similar to EQ, in that a man of action rebels against a regime run by a stern autocratic figure in which love and sentimentality have been outlawed.
It is true that in Godard's film, the regime is not on Earth but another planet, and the protagonist is not a rebel from within the system, but rather an outsider, in this case an American-style "PI" named Lemmy Caution. The evil autocrat's name is Professor von Braun. I will report further on this when we have seen it. In the meantime, has anyone else already done? *eyes Cleric invisiblescientist*

(It is in one piece at Youtube, not divided in many parts, 1 hour and 40 minutes.) VERY GOOD MOVIE!!! The film is made in Paris, with the setting of the 1960s, very existentialist and also in the style of a real French "film noir". It is in French with English subtitles. I will watch "War Wolves" later, but on this occasion let me mention that I have seen the "Contagion" film yesterday, and it was very good. Another epic movie about bacteriological terrorism is "Cassandra Crossing" , which I recommend. Also, Death Race 2000 was a remarkable film with cult following.
