Does anyone else think that when Preston executes Partridge that in the fleeting moment we are shown from above the executed falling backwards that it looks more like Preston's face than Partridge's? Are my eyes going bad or is this a hint about the ramifications on his very soul?

This is absolute and utter film directing at its brilliance: Sean Bean just finished Lord of the Rings as Boromir. A tale completely surrounded by breathtaking beauty and art. The director casts him as the "first" to awaken the gorgeous Christian Bale to all the beauty of "feeling". Only Sean Bean could have engrossed me into this movie and sent me on a personal mission of hope for all human kind to realize the beauty of human emotion! Oh my God!!!! When he sees Vivian (his ex-wife- on tape) being executed he realizes the loss and "LOSES IT" on the stair well after Mary O'brien is incinerated. . . . . sorry there are no more words to describe this!!!!!!!!!!!

I've noticed that too and i have to say that it's not Sean in my opinion!Looks like another person!
