Anybody know if its possible to get music and audio quotes from the movie as your ringtone? I think it would be awesome to get the audio for my phone as an alarm when Preston is sleeping and then an alarm goes off and you hear Father say in the background:
"Libria... Awake. Awaken to triumph again in the face of yet another day, another step in our unified march into the unwavering purpose...move ahead together into the certainty of our collective destiny"
That would be the best alarm ever! ;D

It's a brilliant idea... did anyone try to make a record of it as an mp3 or something like it? No? What a pity!

I don't have the equipment to extract and separately record Father's political talks from the DVD, but I am sure you can enhance the background sound and make it louder before you record it. But I agree that Father (Sean Pertwee) is a very good actor and he reads the political talks very well. Actually I am sure that if the director Wimmer had a much larger budget, he could have made the movie 3 hours long, and there would have been a lot more room for Father's political philosophy. Right now Wimmer is working around the clock on Salt II, and if he can build more credibility, maybe Hollywood will one day give him a $100 million budget to make a far better version of EQ !!! ;D Actually, all of Father's political talks that are heard in the background, can be found in the script of Equilibrium, which is at our EQ site. The difficulty for me is to extract and re-record Father's talks from the DVD. www.equilibriumfans.com/Transcript.htmFor example, at that link above, Father's political talk in the background, when Preston was working at his desk, at the Hall of Enforcement is also written: www.equilibriumfans.com/Transcript.htm (The typographical error above is copied and pasted from the link containing the script.) Next, the Father's political talk that Preston's son was watching at the beginning of the movie: Also Father's political talk at the alarm clock in the morning is also at the same website:

"The later 20th century saw the foutuitous [sic] and simultaneous rise of two synergistic political and psychological sciences. The first, the revolutionary precept of the hate crime."
Shouldn't that be, 'revolutionary CONcept?' A 'precept' is a rule laid down for teaching purposes. e.g., 'In this class, all numbers set forth in maths problems shall be construed to be rational numbers.'

I've been able to make a record of it as an MP3, however, my skill level is still not good enough to remove the background music or other background sounds so that I can only have Father's voice. Plus the volume of it is still pretty low despite the fact that I amplified the recording greatly.

I was somewhat confused by the choice of the word precept, and the word concept does seem to be better. However, the word precept also has a relevant meaning as the Merriam-Webster dictionary defines it: www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/preceptSince Tetragrammaton is more like a religious movement, the word precept was probably chosen to emphasize this aspect.
