Well, Blu-Ray players finally hit my $100 price point so I got one. And you know one of the first movies I ordered was EQ. Watched it with the kids last night. Awesome. The extras are the same as the DVD which is to say not much. Commentary and a crappy making of.
The transfer however is amazing, especially for a movie this dark. The best thing is the audio. The sound was amazing. Seems to be a big part of Blu-Ray, the increase in the quality of the audio.
It had been a long time since I watched EQ so it was kinda fresh again. Worth it for sure. Now I'm waiting on a new HD projector to be delivered so I can watch on the big screen.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I have very few DVDs and I watch them from the computer, but now that you informed us that EQ is even better on blue ray DVDs, I am seriously considering getting a blue ray drive or a real blue ray DVD player.

Woot! Good to hear from you!
We haven't succumbed to Blu-ray yet...we're still thinking about signing up to Sky HD. I think when more channels are available then we might opt for both.
