I was unfamiliar with this online sitcom until I got a link sent to me from Empire today. Check out this spoof music video from the show...looks pretty amusing, especially for those who are familiar with World of Warcraft, Guild Wars etc. www.youtube.com/watch?v=urNyg1ftMIUAnd here's the link to the website for anyone interested: www.watchtheguild.com/ ;D

Thanks for bringing this to my attention.
I have watched the first 6 episodes of The Guild at YouTube. This is definitely a very good depiction of the future society. Excellent satire. Ordinary television is so boring that I can only tolerate basic news programs. Such non-profit programs can potentially enrich culture in the world.

Ordinary television is something that kills brain cells every second as you watch it, news programmes included. It is the new "circuses," for which the endless demands by the hoi polloi helped bankrupt the ancient world.

However, there have been some utterly amazing wildlife programmes recently...Wild Russia and Life I still like to chill after a stressful day at school with the odd Buffy/True Blood/Sanctuary/Fringe/Warehouse 13/Dollhouse/Merlin....

Personally I'm now enjoying life with no TV at all...I never watched TV that much in any case...plus most stuff can be found online anyway these days so I'm certainly not missing it.

Indeed...but what a life! You've done something that most of us don't have the cojones to do...making a new life and making it work!
