Hi all, I was watching Reign of Fire earlier tonight and noticed that his accent was in full bloom and very much full on during it which got me wondering about something. About *how* many of his movies that he did is his lovely accent full on or as noticeable like RoF? As I've only seen Batman Begins and The Dark Knight and in both of those movies he spoke in an American accent
Just curious, Gypsiebelle

well he does a Cockney accent (I think?) in the Prestige, but that's not his real one. maybe try some of his interviews on youtube.

There was actually a mention of this a while back, Gypsiebelle. Christian stated that for American interviews, he maintains his American accent so as "not to confuse Americans when Batman starts speaking with a Welsh accent." So, for the best results, I'd say check out British interviews. Good luck!

His accent in Reign of Fire was cockney. From what I've heard, the closest to his real accent is in Metroland. And, he doesn't have an actual Welsh accent. The Brits on this board has described his British accent in interviews as all over the board. Most likely this is a result of growing up outside of Wales in the UK, and constantly moving until settling in the US.
