www.immortel-lefilm.comA friend gave me the heads-up on this one...I haven't seen it but she says it's good. Check out the trailer and the scene extracts (links at the bottom, the middle and right-side ones). Looks very interesting - production looks like the 5th Element, filmed with something that looks like Sky Captain's color process. Check it out...

I just saw this French Sci-Fi on DVD last night....and I was thoroughly entertained by it! A stunning blend of CGI & live action.
Its like the 5th Element, Stargate & Final Fantasy:SW all rolled into one. If these sorts of films were your cup of tea, then theres a good chance you'll enjoy it as well.
Definately a candidate for a movie music video....

I've been trying to tell Mira about this film. She and I watched "Casshern" the other night, and I was trying to tell her that if she liked 'Casshern' she would probably also like "Immortal." Anyon else seen both and can comment? BTW bat-skippy's link is toast now, so here's an alternate link ... to the same trailer I believe.

Unfortunatly I haven't seen Imortal finale (a friend told me the rest) but I saw "Casshern" from begining to end and it's a prety good movie! Like it a lot actually! They both share a similar atmosphere, they are both graphically charming and they both portray the human condition in a very interesting way, but I dare to say that "Casshern" is the most inspired of the two, in terms of story (it's way more complex and crazy I might add) and even visually speaking. I gess it's the asian charisma, the japanese magic of doing things.
Note to all of you who haven't seen any of them: See them both, they're both great!
