Totally!! Er, I mean ... *injects self with interval* .................. ... ...affirmative. [Just look at him! He's trying to save his reputation of a good cleric by taking the dose while discussing EC-10 topics! Bravo!!! ;D *with Brandt smile* So, what kind of EC-10 movies do you prefer, Cleric?!! ;D]

Prefer Cleric? The topic, I believe, was potential methods by which the Auteur may optimize his effectiveness as a film director ... *smooths hair ... an uncharacteristic gesture* You have no problem with that, I assume, Cleric?

Platonov also wrote a dystopian novel called "Chevengur" ... hitherto untranslated as far as I know ... Evgany Zamyatin's "We," like "Chevengur," is also a dystopian society ... Both might have certain interesting parallels to Libria ... though "We," I think, was already filmed, though very long ago ... time for a remake ... He might also film Austin Tappan Wright's "Islandia." I'd work up a script for that ... Finally...someone else who has read Zamyatin's "WE" ...I thought I was the only one!! And why am I not surprised it's you! Great story! ;D

Yeah ... c'mon Mir ... he also wrote two long short about England--"The Islanders/The Fisher Of Men," based on a year spent spent living in Newcastle-upon-Tyne--had (I understand) some fascinating takes on life there ... kinda Orwell-esque (NOT Orwellian) which might also make an interesting project for KW ... available in English now if ya wanna lay out at least ten quid ...

Maybe a Hong Kong action movie. He makes pretty crazy action scenes here, think of what he'll do there.
Also, I really think he should do that movie about dolphins he talked about. Dophins doing gun kata would be great. Maybe something about a dolphin raised in captivity who's released into the wild and must learn how to survive in the harsh environment full of shark crime sydicates and such.

Well, there was that little military snafu with armed, trained dolphins escaping their tank durning Hurricane Katrina...

Tarantino and Rodriguez are planning another Grindhouse I hear. Wimmer should definitely do a fake trailer.

I agree that Wimmer should do a duff trailer ... might be a first step toward reclaiming some of the cred he (quite unjustly) lost over UV.

I'd like to see him do a live-action Trigun movie. Maybe with Ben Foster as Vash.
