This is just me thinking out loud here but I would like to see these two independent director to make a film together. I mean since the Wachowski Bros. Alot of drector have worked together in many films. Like Sin City, Infernal Affairs, The Butterfly Effect. So I think the time has come for these two directors to meet. What do you think?

Am I the only one who thinks this is a cool idea?

It would be an interesting collaberation. I could easily see a Nolan Batman film with Wimmer/Mike Smith style action sequences.

Yes, that sounds like it could be a potential killer combination!

im in. Nolan's deep characters scripts with wimmer style of action (which think Nolan is lacking in) would be a good team.

I say if it's not to late they can cast Wimmer as the action Director for The Dark Knight. Mabey have Joker do some Gun-kata of his own if he wants to battle the Bat. But then again if he knew Gun-Kata he will wind up killing Batman so never mind.

*slap!* just kidding Hmmm... Nolan & Wimmer...interesting idea. I always think Memento when it comes to Nolan. Polaroids.... *friv now has mental image of a Cleric with memory troubles* looks like it's me that needs the slap!

It would be an interesting combination. I'd like to see Nolan's writing paired with Wimmer's knack for directing action. That was one of the things I felt let Batman down was the fast-jump-cut fight sequences where they left you just wondering what the heck was going on.
Then again and some people probably wouldn't agree with me. I'd like to see Nolan's writing paired with the Wachowski's style action - especially like the knife fight from V.

I think the action in Batman Begins fits the movie and the character. It is supposed to portray the "confusion" and the fear Batman induces in his enemies. They don't understand what is going on and that is the whole point of it.
That said, I do have more fun with Wimmer's action. Wachowski's action... I don't even consider it "action", frankly. They abuse of slow motion (which is almost the opposite of "action") and their action scenes don't really have that "something" for me.

i agree.
for the dark knight, nolan should direct all the dramatic scenes and hav final edit, but let kurt do all the action sequences.
a bit like towerin inferno when one director handled drama and irwin allen himself did all the action scenes.
