Hey, I've noticed several boards devoted to the gun swap sequence "flaw" and missed details, etc. of EQ. As we all know, probably all movies have flaws.
As far as flaws go, EQ has FEW. I watched Minority Report again the other night (not sure why, must have been bored), and I was able to find flaw after flaw after flaw. I mean, in 15 minutes, I found, like, two or three flaws. The flaw are rampant in that movie.
Can anyone comment on other films' flaws? I think considering EQ's budget and the 54 days taken to shoot the film, the film is very well put together. ;D

Actually the "missed details" topic is really more about observation though sometimes "flaws" have crept into that thread.
Here is my opinion on film flaws...they all have them. It really is irrelevant and to me a non-issue to dwell on them unless you are attempting to be nitpicky. The more one watches a specific film the more one notices these. It is inevitable because of the way a film is created and put together.
A film is like any other work of art. The closer you get to it, the easier the minuet and actually insignificant details standout. I mean how many people go to a museum with a magnifying glass??

When I first discovered EQ, I was ecstatic to find such a film. And I'm not sure why, but when I noticed the sequencing error in the gun swap timing, I felt bummed at first. I think I scrutinized EQ because I watched it so many times (like you said, "The more one watches a specific film the more one notices these.") and wanted it to be perfect, as nothing is. But then I realized, many other film's flaw are rampant. And to me, EQ is perfect, gauged by my satisfaction and enjoyment watching it. I think I got overly enthusiastic and critical creating this thread after watching Minority Report and finding flaw after flaw. Thanks for reminding me that flaws are inevitable. Hope you'll forgive my overzealous attempt to make another point as to why EQ is superior.
