I just wanted to give you all and update on the progress of Project EQ and give a quick explanation.
Frist of all, Project EQ is not some amature weapon model pack such as the one created "The Specialists". This is a full blown conversion. It cannot be classified as simply "a mod". It will be essentially an all new game created usuing another games engine. Calling it a mod would be like calling Splinter Cell a UT mod. Not only will it contain EQ character models, weapon models, and levels, but it will also incorporate a brand new control engine to allow the use of Gun Kata. This will make it the first PC game to ever include MDS (multi-directional shooting). And best of all, it will be free as long as you own a copy of the engine on which we base it.
For those of you who wish to contribute, the following are the positions which still need to be filled. Highly skilled texturer 3d modeler capable of creating character models Any one experienced in programming Level mapper
Ps. Sorry about putting this in the main forum Jen. I just noticed a bit of confusion over the mod. Alot of people were not taking the time to read our forum before jumping to conclusions about it. As soon as we get everything moved over to our new board, a public section will open up for discussion on this topic.

Sounds very cool. Unfortunately, I have none of the skills you need, but I was wondering what engine you will make the 'mod' for?

Thanks for the update. <salutes to Pentagrammaton>
What game/engine do we need in order to play it?
