I may already told you that I'm interested in becoming a movie director in later life. Last year I had some interesting experiences while doing a music-video for a professional "synthy-pop" musician (Jan W.), living in my area.
This was the first professional music-video I've done and we needed about 7 months for producing it. The reason was that it was a educational project for students, but after some time only I and some guys from a young, new film-producing company, were left. All the others only wanted to get the free CD's I think.
I'll work for this company as director as well as script author for a longer movie this year. ;D

Every picture shown in the video was shot in my home town and the surrounding areas. The images have been chosen according to the content of the lyrics and shows beautiful sides of "Brandenburg" _{(Federal state of Germany, surrounding Berlin)} as well as some of the problems. The song goes more and more positive and optimistic towards the end, so do the images. ;D
_{But the lyrics are in German. Sorry, but I could translate it later, if you are interested in it.}

Some of you might be remembered of "What I've done" by Linkin Park, because it's a similar concept, but I have to say that this song came out, shortly after we did the concept for our own video. So we had our concept shortly before "What I've done" came out in Germany and before anyone of us saw it.

The video won an award at the film festival of my home town in the youth-category for "Best Image-design".
_{The shortmovie I have done with some friends won the other two awards for "Best Actors" and "Best Idea" in the same year.
So you can say that I won every award possible for me to get! What a great day that was... ;D ;D ;D}
