As you all know, I've been dying to vid Batman Begins! ;D I finally finished my music video called "Army of One." It is a character study of Bruce Wayne and his dark, tormented soul. Click here to check it out: Video reviews are most welcome. ;D Enjoy, Kristin

I haven't seen this newest video, Kristin, but I'm going to download it in a minute. I watched your "Relax" video yesterday: top-notch stuff! I actually prefer it over "Crazy Boy", though I'm not sure if it's because of the different editorial style or simply the choice of music. I'm in awe of your...what would you call them, videographic skills? Editing skills? Well, whatever, they're good, and as I explained in my email, I wouldn't be surprised if they take you far.

I watched this yesterday & while I enjoyed it, it wasn't up to the same uber quality of "Here" & "The Perfect Drug". While the editing was still quite good, it seemed that you didn't put quite as much effort into this one (effects-wise) as the aforementioned videos. Did you try to get this out as quickly as possible Kristin to have one of the first BMR vids out? Just curious....
This coupled with the fact that the song didn't really do that much for me personally & the fact that I didn't love BMR also contributes to a lesser experience. Not my cup of tea, but Im sure others will absolutely love it.
That said, this video remains leaps & bounds ahead of most of the stuff people post on the LJ vidding community. Well done!

Thank you for your feedback! I was worried it may have looked too simple, but other people have told me they love it how it is. The film is already so awesome looking in itself, so I didn't want to overdo the effects. Some people thought I used too much strobing in The Perfect Drug, so I left that out here since the scenes are already cut very fast. I used the "bats" as a frequent pattern throughout though. The music is not as "layered" as some also and that often inspires effects for me. I didn't rush it at all. I was working on it most of last week.
I appreciate your feedback, as always! Kristin

This is great stuff! How do you all video-makers do it? (Green with envy) The music is perfect. The cutting (is that the term?) is beautifully done. The bats did a great job. ;D

Thanks a lot Amie! I'm planning to do another Batman Begins video in a Sin City style soon (b&w with hints of color). I used this technique a couple months ago in one of my Forever Knight videos called "Superpredators." I'm still working on finding the right song though...
