[glow=red,2,300]Hi Fellow Clerics[/glow]
I have tried loads of FTPs and none of them are working for me, I am kind of new to the whole FTP world so if someone could e-mail me the soundtrack I would be eternaly greatful
I understand it's very big and sending it all at once is ridiculous but, If you send 4 or 5 tracks a day that would be quicker!
PLEASE EVERYBODY, I AM NEARLY FEELING EMOTION HERE!!!!

As Andrew has said, this soundtrack is huge! I've had a lot of emails asking for the whole thing, when I said I'd be happy to mail a few major tracks...like Encounter, Evidence, Try to Escape and Final Countdown/Lost...or other specific ones if people knew what they wanted, but sending the whole soundtrack isn't possible...

I've tried these FTP sources several times, but I can never connect to the server. Could you give me some more detailed explainations?
Also, my avatar won't display. I even made it 65x65 (seemed like the default size, but maybe not).

Also, my avatar won't display. I even made it 65x65 (seemed like the default size, but maybe not). I fixed it for ya. Most images need to have capitalized tags but for some reason lately the lower case seems to work best. Not really sure why?? BTW, welcome & good luck on getting that thing I know nothing about.

Hey Andrew (and everyone),
I have been lurking here for a while, ever since I saw EQ in fact. Specifically, I've been looking for info on DLing the soundtrack (big surprise).
That Russian site looks good, but none of the links seem live. I click on them and they highlight, but the cursor is not a hand, it's the "I" cursor that appears over text.
How did you get the links to work?
Thanks for your help!

That's because, as it can be evinced by traducing the orange text with babelfish, "At present we are forced to limit not Russian traffic. In the near future we hope to remove this limitation. We bring our apologies." Bummer. Probably my fault Oh, and, welcome! ;D

I've been searching for the soundtrack for a loooong time. So I thought, stuff it, and I bought a copy of it off eBay. It is yet to arrive, but once I get it, I will be glad to copy it for people on here and send you it. It saves you splashing out on unnessesary money, at least.
The big question is, why on Earth was the soundtrack never released?

Whoa, after reading all threads about the soundtrack and the different ways to get it I am afraid to ask for help.
None of the FTP-Sites worked, neither with IE6 (on WIn2k), nor with Mozilla nor with an FTP Browser. Everytime I get the answer: could'nt connect, check if username and adress is valid. Or I got something like "connection timed out". I don't know the exact meanings because I am from Germany so I don't think anyone here would understand my German failiue notices.
At least I can give you two other ways to look for the Equilibrium Soundtrack - but just some tracks. Have look on "WinMX" (a Peer to Peer Tool) and "emule" I got a few tracks from there but that was all.
I must admit, my connection rate is a bit slow: it's Cable (but just 64 kb). Could that be the reason for I cannot connect to any of those FTP Servers?
If anyone out there has got another hint for me I'd be very happy to complete the soundtrack!
Thanx a lot!

I've got some new sources for parts of the soundtrack and one source for full soundtrack (but it's hard to get it ... the person that's sharing it isn't in the net often): Get emule and use the following link: www.filedonkey.com/url/76DC9DC57CB9F26A5EE32F3C3F5CB7C7Your Donkey will start the download if you klick on the link. (I got 93% of the soundtrack till now .. and I hope the person who has the rest will be in the net soon.) For Xym: I got DC++ but I was unable to connect to your server. I've been trying it since four days now but it didn't work ... the same thing is to the 2 FTP servers listed on page one in this section. I hope I could help anyone and hope someone could help me. Not being a computer genius, I'm really confused with all the download info. Is there a simple way to get the soundtrack like buying it from an online site? That's probably a silly question but I'm so frustrated from checking sites like the German Amazon.com; doesn't help that I don't speak German. WARNING: The ebay site that sells the soundtrack states that it's an "Unofficial copy" - hoist the Jolly Roger! If anyone can help me (understand)downloading the music, I would deeply appreciate it. Thanks.

WARNING: The ebay site that sells the soundtrack states that it's an "Unofficial copy" - . Currently ALL copies of the soundtrack are "unofficial" & pirated even the ones linked to here since it has never been "officially" released. This is the main reason I personally will have nothing to do with this.

Thank you for letting me know it was never released. I was unaware of that and have been all over the net looking for an "official" copy to buy. Surely the powers that be realizes that there's a fortune to be made if they were to release an authorized version of the music. I wouldn't want a pirate copy either. Aside from being illegal, if something goes wrong, there is no recourse. The seller on ebay starts out the bidding at about $25 and has a "Buy Now" price of $35. Now that's almost criminal.

I'm not thick with a Pc but man getting this soundtrack is like trying to drink coca-cola through your nose while standing on your head. would it be possible if someone could mail it to me. i tried all the sites and the FTP's and i'm starting to chew things like my fingers and keyboard. that russian site does not have a link for downloading, and i starting to wonder how the russians understand russian. Emotion is an understatement compared to how i'm feeling!! Help would be very much appreciated

@ AndrewGarn
I thought this would be the better way to contact you! I got a few more tracks yesterday evening and it would be very kind of you to send me the missing ones to the following e-mail addresse (because I've got one that has got 1 Gigabyte of mailbox)
It would be nice to complete CD1, if possible
I got CD01 3,4,6,7,8,9,10,13,14,15,16,17,18,21,23
so missing are: 1,2,5,11,12,19,20,22,24
I won't mention CD2 ... there's missing a lot and I'm trying to get a few more before even thinking of asking again ;D
So thanks a lot and please use this e-mail: Anubissince1982@gmx.de
Thanxxxxx!

Finally it is done!
I got the complete soundtrack of Equilibrium!
Everyone out there - who had the same problems than me (couldn't get it via the given FTP Servers)
Go and get emule!
It will take a few days but you can definately get the whole soundtrack there! Just search for "Equilibrium" and you will get a lot results! Then it just takes time to get every single track because there is _no_ complete soundtrack file ... just every single track from different users.
So: be patient and you'll be rewarded!
Warpax
ps: if you're just missing some tracks, tell me and I'll do my best to send some ... but I've got a _very_ slow connection so I really can't send the whole thing!!!
