yeah i've seen quite a few connecting and having passive mode turned off (and i'm willing to bet that you are behind a router, from the ip's you are trying to route).
fix it by in your ftp client choosing passive mode, or if you are using Internet Explorer go to:
Tools > internet options -> advanced
under the section called "browsing" almost furthest down on that part, click "use Passive FTP"
that way it will work.
technically, passive mode means, when sending information, like directory listing or files, you connect to the server, on an IP the server tells your client to use, and a port the server tells your client to use. if you connect in active mode (opposite of passive), your ftp client, or internet explorer is telling the server, to connect to -you- on a specific ip, and a specific port. problem here is, if you have a Firewall, that isn't setup to allow these connections, you won't get a directory listing. same goes with a router, if you are behind a router, and havn't set it up it won't work, plus, your ftp client will use your internal ip (the one on your personal network), and that ip is unknown to the server.

Can someone just tell me the title of Equilibrium's main theme? The one that constantly runs throughout the entire movie and also during the end credits? That's really the only song I want to DL, until I can find the OST, because Dling every single song is slowing my comp and taking forever...

Which one? There are a few strong themes throughout the film. I you can identify the one you mean by explaining which scene...eg the one where Preston's watching Mary/Viviana's sentence, which is 'Final Countdown/Lost'...then I can probably send it as a file. ;D
...and Darko...fantastic sig you've done...very impressive. ;D

Was a lot of fun to make and Photoshop is absolutely wonderful to artists! As for the song: it's the one that was made into the ring tone by Alphonse Capone. It has the chimes, electronical beat and drums in it.. It was played at the very beginning of the ending credits. Right after Preston smiles. I hope that helps... And I wonder if perhaps it is "Final Countdown/Lost" -Edit- I found it! And your right, it was "Final Countdown!" WinMX was nice to me and found some songs to DL, and it worked! Mwaha! -Drools to the music-

port is 2525 full link with user and password would be: eq:soundtrack@wazzer.ath.cx:2525copy and paste that into smart ftp and it should put everything where it should be.

Ok guys. For all soundtrack-seekers out there I've established my own FTP server. Number of users who can connect at the same time is currently limitet to 5. Here are the details of my FTP: 213.156.101.132user: equilibrium pass: equilibrium Happy downloading Edit: the server won't be available all the time. It'll be online approximately 12 hours a day. If it isn't available or if there are already 5 users and you can't connect - try later.

I've still got it available via snail mail, if anyone wants to go that route. (meaning, I'll mail it to you or trade you for something fun, like fan art or another cd)
I've tried directly via AIM file transfer but that doesn't seem to work well, and the RIAA scares me too much to offer a public FTP or any other means. I used to do this (see previous threads) so you can get references if you want.

I’m new here, my introductory post is at the Introductory Thread of Resistance Discussions. Perhaps it’s a bit early to be trying to grab things from you, but I’d be beyond excruciatingly thankful if someone would send me the soundtrack. None of the links posted here worked for me, although I admit I’m a bit of a computer moron, so it very well could be my fault. Anyway, if there is a way to e-mail tracks, please send them to kamm1986@sbcglobal.net. If sending the entire soundtrack is not possible, I’d go for just the song that AlphonseCapone made a ringtone of, Hall of Mirrors and the ending credits. Please respond—I know I seem desperate, but I am. I am also planning on staying on this board for awhile, so this isn’t an instance of ‘post-and-run’ just to get hold of it. I recall someone saying they weren’t too fond of that type of behavior. Heh. Well, I’m off to browse the EC-10 forum. I am jealous of all you people with artistic skills…

Tomorrow I'm leaving to my aunt, so my computer will be off. On Monday I'll post the exact hours, within which my FTP will be online ( well, my school starts on Monday ). The server was quite irregular and I apologise, I'll try to keep it regular from Monday.

I tried connecting, but the ftp client couldn't find the host (I can't ping 213.156.103.190 either). I'll try again tomorrow, but let me know if the IP & port # are correct. Thanks

The IP has changed to the following one: [ftp]ftp://213.156.101.132[/ftp]
And yes, the port number is 21
Edit: My ISP is evil. I've got recently technical problems, ie. I've been constantly ( average: every 3 minutes ) disconnected from the Internet. So, if the server keeps disconnecting remember: the problem is not on your end. Besides, if the problem persists for the next two days, I'll shut down the server.

I was able to download it over the last two days. Although I did notice the cutting off as you mentioned, SmartFTP's queuing of files helped retrieve (and resume downloading of) the files. Again, thank you so much for sharing (and for updating your IP addr each day!). The soundtrack is great. ;D
