Do you reckon big main governments in charge of countries today, wish something like prozium existed? I mean, we always have some of control (laws, for example) but do you think they would welcome something industrial strength such as prozium?

Oh, I don't think so. Whipping people up emotionally is such an easy way of controlling them, that the power-masters will always use it, even knowing full well that it doesn't always work as intended.

Governments definitely need some kind of medication to control their soldiers who are often unreliable. Today, one of our soldiers in Afghanistan lost his temper and opened fire on civilians, killing 16 people including 8 children. www.cnn.com/2012/03/11/world/asia/afghanistan-us-service-member/index.html?hpt=hp_t1It is possible that this will ignite a lot of anger in such a way that the entire Middle East will turn against the West. Actually, the US Army has already decided to replace the majority of human soldiers by purchasing more robots in the future. Instead of firing the soldiers, they will just avoid hiring new ones and get rid of the older soldiers through attrition. But the fact is that HUMANS will still be controlling the robots, and as such, they will lose their temper and order the robots to kill arbitrarily. This is why one way or another we shall need prozium.

i'm saddened to tell you this, but it already exists, and it's a big deal. (you probably already know this) many of the kids these days are medicated to tone down their emotions and keep them docile.
they say that some kids have ADD (attention deficit disorder) or adhd attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, and they give them drugs and medications to calm down their hyper activity.
It's actually criminal behavior in my view, what some are doing to kids with medication. They are just being kids for goodness sake. Most kids with those problems have overly controlling parents or parents that dont know how to talk to their kids, and have screwed up their system of balance and rules to keep the kids normal, and able to follow some direction.
These kids are constantly trying to find peace by going their own way, or being creative in their own way. Then these already screwed up situations are made even worse with meds for these kids.
Many kids are hyper active, and they run around jumping grabbing things at a certain age. That will calm down when they get older, Its a damned phase of life. and should not be messed with with drugs like that. The doctors get rich off of that, and they get lots of attention with these new "diseases" they label them as. It's absurd. It's prevalent in the united states, not that much in other countries.
and it's not just kids. cops often ask drivers and people they search or interact with, if they take "meds", and "are you off your meds?", that is equivalent to "are you off your dose?".
but we don't have an entire society that is forced to take mind altering drugs ... yet. and it probably will not come to that, but there are definite similarities in what we already have today. And haha, i think governments would welcome something like prozium, it would definitely lead to less riots and revolts..
