Here is the result of my efforts to restore the map of Libria, based on the movie captures. But many details are still missing (the map is used for background, so the camera seldom focuses on it) Does anyone know if there are any high quality photos of the maps of Libria we can see in the Resistance Headquarters?

Nicely done, and especially interesting to me with the fact that I'm writing a story which focuses heavily on Libria's physical layout and buildings. Thanks and welcome back! ;D

Amazing! How did you reconstruct it? Just by checking the images from the movie or did you had some other sources? Must have been difficult either way.

Thank you! Glad to see you again ! I used only the movie reconstructing the map. That's why I doubt about its accuracy (actually, some parts of it are based on pure guess). And yes, by the end I thought my eyes would fall out onto the keyboard! I'm sure someone of the movie crew has the original paper map in his closet))) Wonder if we can find and contact the person and ask him to share the scan

Since the administrator of this website JenGe was in contact with the director Wimmer, chances are very high that contacting JenGe might be a good idea to find out who has the original map of Libria. I am new here, but it seems that even though the administrator JenGe is no longer logging in to this website, this person listed a direct email address here: www.equilibriumfans.com/storage_officer.htm

Excellent work.
One question, what is the scale of that map? Military maps use a 1:25,000, 1:50,000, 1:75,000 and 1:100,000, just to name a few. The 1:50,000 is the most common. It also depends on the size of area you want to represent. If you want to cover, let's say the entire state of Texas, you could use a 1:100,000 scale. If you wanted to cover the city of Dallas, you might use a 1:75,000. If you wanted to cover a section of Dallas that's about twenty or so square kilometers, use the 1:50,000. If you want to cover the immediate area around the Dallas Cowboys Stadium, use the 1:25,000 or smaller.
Seeing as how Libira seems to be very sprawling, I would imagine that we would be looking at the least a 1:50,000 or larger. Kind of off the wall, but I can't turn off that part of my brain. Career military, and all that.
