hello, I hope this forum isn't quite dead yet. I want to introduce nunchaku freestyle, not a martial art but rather a form of show off. While freestyle with a single nunchaku is very nice to watch, freestyle with double nunchaku is even better, and I noticed that it's very similar to Gun Kata (exept of the weapon of course). Watch this video for example: www.youtube.com/watch?v=bKsYDEpuroEMatt Emig is one of the better nunchaku artists in the world, because he mixes it with acrobatics. The moves he does with nunchaku are quite easy. I am a nunchaku artist myself, and i think that with some practice and maybe realistic models of guns I would be able to recreate the first Gun Kata scene from the movie. What do you think about nunchaku?

Hello there! Nunchaku is an amazing art! I've heard of this form before and, as a martial artist myself, it has always amaze me! I agree with Mira, a nunchaku (as well as other forms of course) artist can clearly reproduce the gun kata moves. I really think you should work on that first scene, it's an amazing one!

I know that there's Nunchaku fighting for a long time. I used to read "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" when I was very young That's no shame for a child... and one of the main characters used Nunchakus. It looks really impressive and I like those kinds of Martial Arts, but I'm very surprised that obviously we have so many martial artists among us. Well... I don't have the time for training this stuff any more and when I once had it I prefered swimming as my "professional" sport.

I just have to watch that scene many times so i can see how does Preston move his arms. Then I will be able to make a similar combo with my nunchakus. of course, I will also care for similar scenery ;D.
