That's very, very odd because someone on IMDb claimed to have received them from his grandfather. From what I hear is it very, very obscure and from the 60's or 70's but sometimes can be spotted on Ebay.

If that is his claim, he's smokin' the crack. The art style on the UV comics is most decidedly modern.

Are you talking about the ones on the official site? Those are not the originals. Those are movie tie-ins. The originals are suppose to be from the 60's or 70's/

We (the test audience) were told it was based on a comic book, but I'd never heard of it. I thought they might have been planning to release a comic at the time the film was scheduled to hit theaters but that doesn't appear to be happening either.
