Hey guys. I found these two articles on Ultraviolet online and they are really excellent. I wanted to share them with you guys. They are both written by veteran martial arts and action film journalist, Dr. Craig Reid. First one: ezine.kungfumagazine.com/ezine/article.php?article=648Second one: ezine.kungfumagazine.com/ezine/article.php?article=649The first one is about the stunt team and fight coordinator that worked on the action on Ultraviolet. Really great stuff. Goes into his history, his experience, info on the creation and work that were put into the fights, etc.. The second one is mostly about the film itself but the focus is very much on the action of the film. A good amount of it is taken from an interview with Milia and there is a lot of fantastic insight and observations that Dr. Reid has made (the man is obviously very knowledgeable). He also touches on the subjects that have been mentioned here by Kurt Wimmer fans on the film recently. They are definitely not your usual fluff promo pieces that's for sure and it's real refreshing. I encourage the read and I hope you enjoy them. ;D

I read the second article and it seems to summarize exactly the way things to appeared to happen in the movie...good...and bad.
Great article....its too bad "smart" critics like Ebert or whoever couldn't just attempt to understand why UV was made the way it was.
Apparently blame for bad editing goes down the ladder, ie (wimmer). Even so, At least there are some people that understand.
