Yeah it a pretty good mod - so good in fact it won the recent modding competition.
Their gun kata is very simple and nothing more than a spray of bullets everywhere.
And it doesn't hold a candle to our system in the Hall of Mirrors. And thats not being nasty or anything.

yeah, their gun kata is kinda weird. and there really isnt a tactical advantage to using it in the game unless you're really REALLY surrounded by enemies.

how is the gun kata system in HoM going to work, is it going to autotarget the enemies or something?

I just beat the MI mod a day or so ago and I must say I was pretty impressed with it's quality, although the Katana mod for MP1 is still #1 for me. About my only gripe for MI was the gun kata system, because its so cool you want to use it often but its only useful really in a couple of spots in the mod. It starts in a kind of swirling gun attack and then depending if you press bullet time combo + forward (you do another gun attack), or bullet time combo forward+right (you do a front kick) or forward + left (a roundhouse kick). The problem is that any guy that is not very close to you probably will not die and continue to blast away at you while your still in the combo often resulting in a quick death that would not happen had you just gone into bullet time and wasted the guys the regular way. Still it was a great mod, to me it was better than some commercial turds that have been dropped on us... cough.. cough.. hack.. Enter the Matrix.

I tried MI:ND, and I must say, I was surprised how bad I found it. At least to me it seems like you're always walking to a corner, dodging around it, shooting all the enemies and walking on to the next corner. I have read many other comments telling me how great the mod is, but at least for me, all my hopes lie on the EQ mod now

what I dont get is the third mission. The IMF HQ mission.
Why would Ethan go into IMF HQ, shoot all his teammates (They are IMF agents) just to talk to the head dude. Like..WHY?!?

Hehe, red tape...BLAM!
I like it, direct and to the point, rather like Preston.
