As many of you know we're looming closer and closer to release and as a result the possibility of including major changes and additions is diminished. However, that doesn't have to stop anyone from suggesting what they'd like to see in the mod! I have always thought about supporting the mod by releasing new versions after we complete the first version. The point of this thread is to gather suggestions about stuff you'd like to see added, I might be able to include some of this stuff before we release and if not, I might be able to include it in any additional releases we might have. So have at it! Don't worry about how "realistic" the suggestions are, go crazy. We'll worry about whether it's possible or not

Go crazy. heh. Sure I'd like -a story mode spanning the movie and also the fanfics on this site; -multiple selectable characters, including a female cleric (with "bikini kata" cheat code ); -as many RPG features as possible, including but not limited to experience systems, shops and inventory -also on the RPG side, the ability to choose which side you're fighting for, complete with multiple ending (from "Underground Messiah" to "New Father"); -katana and practice swords (plus a nice selection of other swords, including Chinese and European ones & lightsabers); -secrets & bonus galore, such as the Chance to square off with Neo. Whew! That would be all. ;D post scriptum: I PM Mr.A some time ago about a had-to-hand (or even sword-to-sword) system in HoM, but he confirmed my suspicions about the MP2 engine not being able to handle more than one custom combat system- so I don't really think most of this wish list has a chance. Still, I think it's great that you guys are willing to keep tinkering with HoM! (I know I would be fed up with everything EQ after such a task )

when they ragdoll they leave blood decals where ever they hit. (exp. exessive blood mod) Be able to block/parry bullets. Dismemberment from grenads.

Have you thought of trying to do the stuff from the final scene? As in pushing eachothers guns away in close combat. I understand that would be really hard to do and i dont see how you could, but it would be good...

If you were to add a few things the ones that i think that would be the most important would be...
1. When someone is killed they don't necessarily fall down strait away. Like in the scene in equilibrium right after Preston lands between the six enemies he wastes them all and then they all fall down synchronously after he is finished with them. Also they didn't stop hooting until they hit the ground.
2. new temporarily stunned/knocked down animations. if you should someone with the draunov in some mods (haven't played the normal game in incredibly long time) people just roll over back wards and get back up. I would prefer seeing them look like they have had an explosion happened in front of them and them step backward a few feet disoriented/injured without falling down.
3. Limping/injuries I remember reading on the havok website that it supports location based effects... Basically it said that if you shoot someone in the arm that it could be disabled. I haven't seen this implemented but it would be really cool in game play.
4. Somehow changing the AI and adding animations so that the enemies will attempt to dodge much more often... looks really cool when a guy goes limp in mid dodge and falls to the ground.
5. adding sounds so that when a corpse falls onto the ground in unusual positions it makes the noises of breaking/cracking bones (when you see a guy fly 10 feet hit the wall with his back and land head first onto the ground it would really bring you into the game to hear his neck snapping)
6. crying guards... need I say more.
7 make floor slippery button. so that you can run into the room and glide down that shiny floor doing gun Kata's all the way down (would look nice, would be fun, would be useful [you slide between two guys and they shoot each other])
8. Adding realism mode... if a bullet or two hits you you are through and thats for everybody.
9. A training mode that lets you see the arcs of fire so that you become proficient in the gun Kata's
10. visibly body damage... blood on the skin

Some sort of close combat system, where you can disarm your opponents, or use their weapons against them (like in the scene where Preston shoots the sweepers with their own shotguns), or simply break some bones.
Multiplayer modes: Capturethe flag, Deathmatch, Preston vs. sweepers.
Unlockable character skins: DuPont, Partridge, Brandt.
Weapons (the best part of every game): HK G36, FN FNC, Remington M870, Cleric Berettas, FN P90, Walther MPL, Katana,. Unlockabe (Multiplayer only): Aliens M41A, Aliens M56 Smartgun, Face/Off Golden .45s, M1887 Terminator 2 Shotgun, Minigun, lightsabre.

multiplayer wont be in the game. mp was never in a mp game....Multiplayer was never in any Max Payne mod. So, it wont be in this one (But, you modders can prove me wrong if you like. I wont complain)

Been following this mod for ages and can't wait for the release. also got a few suggestions. 1. Would really like to see some high-detail levels set in the Nethers, similar to the "Mob War" level in the actual game. 2. Following on, Resistance fighters should be added, again you could use the mobster or russian models from the game. 3. Personally i'm not too bothered about an rpg system, but i wouldn't complain if you implemented one. 4. LOTS of people to shoot at!!!!!

1. Missions based outside the time line of the movie(perverably before the movie). You know just to add a more indepth feel to it.
2. The ability to use a sword intead of guns no matter what fight you're in.
3. The ability to either help the resistence or help "father"/ Dupont. (Chose "Good" or "Evil")
That's pretty much it for me. I think all the suggestions here have been pretty sweet. I can't wait for House of Mirrors.

Free movement around Libria + Nethers, like GTA but with Clerics and in an EQ setting. Plus, of course, you can go to certain Cleric checkpoints in the Nethers or back to DuPont's office for assignments.

I liked to see all Mona moves from this mod (http://www.levels4you.com/download.l4y?showpicture=12337) in "hall of mirrors mod" Bekause this mod using Prestons moves =)))) I dont know mabby you allready got all those moves.

my only suggestion, having to take on an entire nether sweeper team including conflagration soldiers with flame throwers.
well i thought of another question/answer: will there be in-game fights between resistance members and the tetragrammaton? in other words will there be battles where you could just sit back and watch both sides duke it out? if not that would be awesome to see
take your time guys, we can wait and good luck with this mod!

On the Equilibrium film John Preston turned the Cleric guns into that kind of hitting weapon. The things come out of the handle to clobber people over the head. Maybe you could have that in the mod if you havn't already.

Maybe you could try the thing like on MP 1 mods where you would jump into a wall and he would run up it and backflip off. That would be sweet. Would be even more cool if you could fire whilst doing it too

Hows about the ability to wield Sword and Cleric Berreta? During that sparing scene with preston and bryant, it looks like Preston felt a bit naked without a gun in his hand (since he had his fingers positioned like that ) i would like to say that Lightsabers, although kinda outside of the fiction of EQ, would be kinda interesting to see especialy when dual wielding that and a cleric gun. if that would happen that'd make the Wallpaper i made for u guys a reality. PS - mine was THE JEDI CLERIC under Samurai Tex
