Damn!! Breaking MOD news...I'm never going to get to that newsletter...
I'll mention this on the site's front page tomorrow because I know a ton of fans are waiting for it. I'll try to send the newsletter out in the evening or Tuesday. (still not sure if it will even work though.)

Holy shit. Guys, that is fucking amazing. I assume I'd need Max Payne 2 if I were to want to play this, right? Cuz I will gladly go out and get the game (even though I'm not a fan of the MP series), just to play this.
Just...Wow.

Excellent stuff guys. Really well done! Now, should I get MP2 to play this? I'm actually considering that. Again, great work!

also I noticed that he was standing there shooting at the baddies. Will we be able to move and shoot, just like in the movie? or will we be forced to stand there and shoot

Have you guys played the "Close to the Truth" mod for MP2? It includes a gun-kata system that is pretty cool (though not nearly as cool as yours will be, I'm sure), but in your trailor I noticed you had a move where you stand and shoot, and you rotate the camera and the gun arms just rotate around you whereever you aim, so that you can shoot behind you and whatever? This other mod has something exactly like this, and it encorporates it with a dodging movement as seen in Dupont's Gun-kata diagram from the movie. This other mod also contains such techniques as a backflip + shooting sideways, the double gun-turret fire (spreading out in front, sideways), and the turn-and-shoot as in the Hall of Mirrors gunfight. It doesn't look that refined though, as your mod does. So tell me, have you tried this other mod, and what are your comments on it, as well as comparisons with it and what you hope your mod will be?

Yea I noticed that a lot of the stuff looks quite similar... in fact some parts looked identical.
