Sounds fun! I loved Dungeon Keeper (and of course the episode of the Simpsons with Hank Scorpio ), and it seems to be in that similar style of humour. Must check it out sometime. Deimos

Both the reviewer's name and mine are: Wolf, could there be a link? Yeah, EG is a fine fine game...the sense of humour is outrageous and some of the later deathraps are really twisted.

AAAaaaaaah I think I need to upgrade now the more items I added/built, the slower the game ran on my machine. I'm still on the first island, I have stolen Excalibur, the Ark of the Covenant, the mummy and the samurai armor, I have 100 minions and am almost out of tunneling space - and the game is crawling. I'm running at 800x600 already as it is. CW, what machine do you play it on?

I guess I'll have to turn down the detail a little more, for now at least....

I hope to switch jobs soon - if everything works out, I may upgrade my 1.2Ghz Duron to an Athlon 3000 (Barton, if I can get one - don't want to waste a perfectly good Socket A motherboard that won't take a Sempron). The video card will have to wait though - so far I'm not too happy with nVidia's FX line, so I'll stick with my old 64Mb Ti4200.
I had to start the game over - seems a bug corrupted my save game. will post pics from my new trap room soon ;D

This was inspired by something I read in an FAQ on gamefaqs.com. A false entrance to my lair leads to a series of wind traps, ending in a poison gas cage. It looks great on paper, but unfortunately sometimes intruders bypass the first set of pressure pads, meaning Trap #1 doesn't activate. And when they start to panic, they sometimes shoot the place up instead of setting off the traps and dying like they should. After installing a fan-made patch from evilplanet.com, I was able to build sentry guns inside my base (the way they should be!) and I now have all the super agents in a safe place - safe for me, that is! ;D In the cells, from left: Dirk Masters, the Rambo lookalike; Katerina Frostonova; and Jet Chan. In separate cells off screen are Mariana Mamba and the famous John Steele, whom my sentry guns have now shaken and stirred. *laughs wickedly* That unofficial patch works great. Now I can rule my evil empire in complete concordance with the tenets set forth on www.eviloverlord.com (thanks for the link, Deimos!).

Those traps are classic!
