An interesting review: www.madogre.com/Interviews/Guns_of_Equilibrium.htmA reasonably in depth look at the weapons in EQ, I like it. Also, they have ranked EQ #6 on their 'List of Recommended Movies'...
Jen, please feel free to move this if you'd rather it was in 'Evidentiary Reports'.

Cool - He's got a lot of good observations, though TrustKill pointed most of the things in posts across this forum already Nice reading if it wasn't for the obvious fact that the man is a complete and total ass ;D hehehe

Hey great link Max!! I really like this comment...
"Over all, as Sci-Fi Handguns go, I place the Gramaton Pistol as #2. It is second only to the handgun used by Dekard in the movie “Blade Runner.” #3, in case your wondering would perhaps be Han Solo’s Blaster, but that is another story."
I think a replica of the Cleric Gun is the only Sci/fi one I'd want to own.
After Gladiator though some of the swords from the film were being sold at Amazon. The one from the opening sequence when Maximus' sword get stuck in the tree was going for $10,000. It was sooooooo tempting. ;D

Thanks. Just found it on my latest routine search. I think a replica of the Cleric Gun is the only Sci/fi one I'd want to own. I feel exactly the same way. That's why I'm in the long process of getting two replicas made... I've got a friend in the UK that's doing them for me. His boss is not too pleased about it though. So I must bide my time... *evil laughter*

It was sooooooo tempting. ;D Hey, if you're into that kind of thing, check out www.swordsonline.com That's a really nice site for everything in replica, fantasy, ornamental, medieval swords - even functional swords. They're among the cheapest I've seen on the web (and I spent a good time looking ). I know they have replicas of the Gladiator sword from the opening scene on there, for CONSIDERABLY less (around 100 - 200 USD depending on quality).

I wish I had Preston's gun, I'd keep it with me all the time. Then, when some asshole tries to pick a fight with me, or disses me in public, I'll be like "Watchoo say da'me boooy?!' CLICK! The gun slides out from inside my sleeve, in slow motion. A close up of my face, cool as a cucumber. Next thing you know, muzzle flashes in the image of tetragrammaton are lighting up the place! The police arrive to investigate reports of domestic disturbance, and they see me before reporting back to HQ, "Nah, it's OK. It's just Tetragrammaton keeping the streets safe."
THE END
