Well, now that my new EQ DVD has shipped in, I've looked at all the sequences in Equilibrium that have Preston killing somebody and have calculated the total body count. Pitch Black Justice- 22 Partridge gets a trachiotomy- 1 Puppy Shootout- 13 Sector 7 Beat Down- 8 Not Without Incident- 9 Hallway Deliverance- 53 DuPont's Office slice-n-dice- 8 Brandt's Ownage- 1 DuPont gets capped- 1 Preston's Hegemony- 2 Total body count- [glow=crimson,2,425]118 DEAD PEOPLE... HOLY CRAP![/glow] I don't think Arnold Shwarzenegger's killed that many people in his entire movie career! PS.- If I've miscounted I'd like to know.

cleric mike, you've impressed me again. wimmer did say that the total body count in the dog fight was 13 but i cant tell if he was exagerating or not yes it was 13 I love that scene. the 2 guys who got killed by their own guns: 2 the 2 guys who first started firing: 2 the captain: 1 (what? oh shit shoot him shoot him shoot him!!<--what a moron) people who came out of the truck thing :8, 2 were killed when Preston did the flip, the remaning 6 got owned by the blamblamblamblamblamblam (lol) so total = 13

I assume the driver of the truck got out when the others did... Preston didn't check.

Total body count- [glow=crimson,2,425]118 DEAD PEOPLE... HOLY CRAP![/glow] PS.- If I've miscounted I'd like to know. I like what Wimmer stated on CHUD... ;D "ALL the best films have high, high bodycounts. The Wild Bunch, Dawn of the Dead, Scarface, Amadeus (just check out the mass grave at the end if you don't believe me) Even Peter Bogdanovich, director of Kissing Jessica Stein has publicly decried the removal of the infamous 'machine-gunning' scene from that film by the distributors (for length)as ruining what would 'otherwise be a work of staggering genius'(sic). I mean, have you even SEEN Truly Madly Deeply? That film has like 12 dead guys in one house so every shot looking down the street implies literally thousands dead. You remember what Poe said about all this? And that thing we did that time? I rest my case." - as Ludwig Van, CHUD Message Board That man has a wicked sense of humor!!

whats a skip frame button? I dont see how any button can help you count the number, that scene is just flashes and people screaming and probably not all the people were seen during the flashes.

Well, Someone Who Didn't Register, that is the miracle of the skip-frame button and a geek mindset The captain does say before he goes into the dark room that there are 12 guys holed up there.. and Preston does kill them all....
