Yes, but the trigger guards on those are wrong... & about the search option, I notice the ProBoards does not always work correctly so even if someone does a search they may end up with negative results. Currently the only place I know that sells replicas is in Japan (I believe). Also someone has been selling homemade, non-working ones, off and on on EBAY but again the trigger guard is usually wrong

I know, most of the screen guns have the rectilinear trigger guard. However, one of the guns in the close-up sleeve reload scene sports the classic Beretta trigger guard. Let me try and find a piccy... [edit] Here we are, middle picture. The gun in Preston's left hand for the whole of the reload sequence has the curved trigger guard. www.freewebs.com/equilibrium-movie/Wallpaper71.htmObviously an oversight, but look at all the other guns used; only one has the infamous AR15 type fire selector, several lack the skeletonised hammer (including the gun in the Brandt-tries-to-shoot-Mary scene, on which it appears then disappears). My point is the fundamentals are there in terms of overall length, uniform width right down the sides, the dovetailing of the slide into the compensator, and the angle and curvature of the muzzle wedge. Add to that the base gun is the best M92FS replica available and the compensator is top quality anodised aluminium, and I think they're the best I've seen as a compromise between accuracy and utility. Even home projects appearing to be 100% accurate will be lacking something. I know mine lacks quite a bit!! (It's too long, I suck at spraypainting, and am too chicken to cut off the trigger guard and make another )

Good call. I guess then it just depends on which style one prefers. I'd want one (um...I mean two ;D) squared off. Just FYI, a pair of the style that you posted went for over $200 bucks on EBAY last month.

I have the gun now, and in all honesty its even less 'realistic' than I thought, but it's also much more solid than I thought. If you like, I could write up a review of it. It would be relevant now Area 51 are planning to make And yeah, I would ideally like one as tough as mine (like these new full metal 'obsidian' things at A51) with squared guard and all the rest, but the nature of EQ is that even if an airsoft company got a licence to make 'official' guns, they would likely not look correct. So much of the production info is hard to get; look at the R2 DVD; the only 'artwork' of the cleric gun appears actually to be from this very site!! (its a photoshopped pic I've seen here). Then there's the DVD cover with its 'glockatton' pistols and hilarious 'heads-stuck-on-reversed-cleric-coats' Taye and Christian You know, I'm starting to get the inspiration to make my homemade gun a squared guard. But I still have a jet pendant I have to make for my girlfriend so it could be a while...

I'll do photos, honest! It's just I'm going to have to take the guns to work (oo-er) to get shots with a digital camera, and I can only do that when I know no-one's going to walk in and run screaming when they see them Also, my homemade one needs re-finishing. So early next week I hope. I'll email them to JenGe in case she wants to post them, perhaps with a short review, and to anyone else who wants them in the event there's no room on the site.

Ok, until I risk bringing the two guns in to my workplace (risky!), check out this pic, because frankly, it's likely that the gun on the left is actually my gun! There seems to be a mark on it that mine had when it arrived (sticky goo which rubbed right off) in the same place. In any case, it's identical in appearance.
Also, my homemade one still needs the paint removing and replacing, and I'm not sure when I'll get around to it.

Ahh well area51 airsoft... my friend .. John Levett who happend to have also made their website, owned one of the 'Master' Cleric editions which i think he said was DeeDees personal gun, I was expecting it to be a bit plasticy etc being airsoft and all but... damn it was solid with mostly metal parts etc, it was really long *being a master edition* I brought my gun over so we could compare. mine is the new*ish* mauri IMI Desert Eagle .50AE Hard Kick. 1st of all my desert eagle is as long as my forearm... the cleric was about an inch longer it was truly evil, it only lacked the 'T' symbol on the front of the gun but that didnt matter if im honest! that day we took pictures of the side by side and alone etc.. 2 of those pics at least are here i.e the roll up roll up tread, the 1st picture is the cleric on my mates bed lol with the 2 clips.. 1 of wich had a faulty gas seal from trying to use some co2 in it lol and the other is the cleric ontop of the origonal berreta box 2nd we test fired 1 in each hand filled with HFC gas ... the cleric was slightly heavier in either had , my desert eagle was made to have a big kickback recoil but the cleric seemed to have a larger kickback... again evil the thing made dents in the wood we was firing at and splinters flew off. this cleric was single shot not full auto but was beasty neither the less. 3rd the beer can test we shook up a beer can put it opn patio and shot it ..... it exploded! lol pointless but fun! 4th... stupid me alowed him to shoot 1 shot at my bare back.... all i can say is never again... it sreaded the skin and drew blood. Dee Dee at one poiint was working on another cleric for Levett aka... Project:Adam... a full metal full auto cleric which in theory would fire around 600fps, Airsoft snipers fire round 500fps (normal legal average) Levett was going to have to have a firearms licence for this thing, this project was abandoned after the technical faults seemed to make the thing fall apart after 2/3 clips (1 case the slide shredded the top a testers hand).... now that would have been satan incarnate if it was made lol Hope that helps
