Oh my god! through my web-monkeying I managed to stubble across this www.airsoftcommunity.co.uk/gallery2/displayimage.php?album=184&pos=1The amazing thing is, that I can easily meet and get hold of the guy who makes these. They're custom airsoft replicas - and dont look exactly the same (the fire selecter switch is missing), but damn close. They're 200 pounds (GBP) for a semi version or 250 pounds for a fully auto version - I'd guess $320. I'll definatly look into getting at least one!

Credit where Credit is due however, it's a respectable stab at the particular gun.
It might not be wholly accurate, but I give the guy props for trying.

As I've said in another thread, DeeDee, the guy who's company made a limited run of these replicas, posted here; equilibrium.proboards17.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=1063222537The picture you found is of a special extra long (Freudian) version, but the standard semi-auto ones (at least) were very representative and the barrel shroud (pointy bit) was CNC machined from aluminium. He did ultra faithful editions for those with massive wallets. But sadly they won't be doing any more. It's not like we can even petition him for more as not only did they extend the production run once already, but his company has moved on to bigger things I say again, I would sell organs for one of these! He said on that other thread he'd provide us with the CNC machining files; maybe we could approach another company to make them for us. I will consider asking him to license the design to another airsoft gunsmith.

The most insane gun I've seen is the Hellsing: Jackal...my eyes bled when I beheld that monster. www.poseidon.co.jp/2F/g-jackal/bj1.htmlI search for a Cleric gun, continuously...so if I ever find a good one, be sure to know, I'll let everyone know.

It's the size of Alucard (Arucard's) gun that's insane, I suppose it needed the length to accomodate the words.
Jesus Christ is in Heaven now ;D

I know the gun well, from the PS2 game: Gungrave, a cell shaded action title...that also features a rocket-launching coffin amongst other craziness. Not as though I'm in the game industry at all ;D *cough*chuckle*cough* Still, love those guns It also occurs to me that Dante from Devil May Cry 1 and 2, actually has a limited form of Gun Kata for his animations...based on the context sensitive attack system.

Gungrave was an interesting game, far too short, but I love the cell-shading and yes...it did indeed have innovative Gun Kata like attacks, good point pyro.

For me, I think I'd have to say that it's the sleek design, the black finish and the whole stylish feel to that weapon.
It's a nice firearm, even though it looks small, it packs enough punch for people to take it very seriously.

The Desert Eagle the ultimate coolness in handguns? I think not.. they're too big, too clumsy, too powerfull (yes, that too can be bad) and just too... well.. pimpish! If you want a real GOOD gun, go to the people of Strayer Voight, and have them build you a custom wide frame competition 1911. With a ported barrel and everything. Now there's an impressive pieve of handgun mechanics! Extremely accurate, more than enough power (.45APC gotta love 'm!) and just plain awesome looks! Go here to view their catalog: www.sviguns.com/Or even better, go here to design your own custom gun! www.sviguns.com/builder/That's $2000 to $6000 of pure gun goodness right there.. lol

Not too bad I guess...
The Jackall is the best airsoft gun ever. I love Hellsing. The Trigun revolver is next, and Ebony/Ivory are just ugly.

Ok, the subject gun of this thread may look 'plasticky' but I can assure you it is not. The donor gun is a Western Arms Beretta 92FS, which is constructed of, yes, plastic (as are most airsoft guns), but the custom additions are CNC machined from aircraft grade aluminium and anodized to a military spec finish. I think its this shinier finish that you're seeing as plastic. It isn't. Admittedly it lacks the trigger guard and fire selector, but so do some of the screen-used guns!
It's overall length is 1 inch longer than the movie guns but this is by request; the one I've ordered (one of the last ten to be made) is movie length. Finally, A51 airsoft who made the gun, had the production specs for it from the production armourers, and indeed made full metal versions with *all* the modifications you see on the 'hero' guns, including custom-engraved magazine bases. Sadly these were even more limited and expensive than the basic guns. Quality full-metal airsoft guns are extremely expensive, more so than the real firearms in some cases. I'll post pics of mine when I receive it (this week).
I have actually made my own version using a cheaper gas airsoft gun and hand-carved plastic modelling material. My paint finish is a bit rubbish, but the dimensions aren't bad.
