I agree with Kurt Wimmer.

I've said this before about it but that link/page in some ways is bogus. It is only based on Wimmer's thoughts on an EQ2 with that interview he did for CHUD. There is nothing in the works at this time just some happy webmasters that took some remarks & created a page for it. BTW, Wimmer's statements are spot on. I see they finally but those on there.

I've said this before about it but that link/page in some ways is bogus. It looks like since all of the categories are (smartly) left empty and it only has one opinion (but i must say it is his that is most important...)

(but i must say it is his that is most important...) Well, yes & no, depending on how you look at it. His opinion is important but Dimension/Miramax holds all the rights to the film. They can do what ever they want with it, with or without him. What Dimension ultimately decides to do is just as important because they can either destroy or honor the legacy that has been created. (This is also what happened with T3)

I agree with Jen. Nothing has been announced, they're just presenting KW's comments on a possible sequel, which of course we've all heard before, and taking it too seriously. Course Dimension could make EQ2 if they felt like it, but I doubt they would use cash and resources to make a sequel for such a non-explosive mainstream success.

i dont like to be a stick in the mud but i doubt that they will bring out and Equlibrium 2 cause they didnt leave it open for a number 2 if they did ,it would prolly be an enitrely different concept cause like i said they didnt leave it open for a number 2

Well, they could do it like have the same idea as libria in a different city, and then librians could pass the word on then start a war. ...or something. it works better in my head...

Don't worry, BaleheadNutcase. I'm sure no harm was meant by it.

Pardon me sticking my opinions in... TEXTBUT[/i]TEXT I hope they do make equilibrium 2, but will have to be good. Perhaps giving it an entirely different title instead of sticking a 2 on the end? NEway, I like the idea of the revolution spreading, mankind awakening to its own nature, and the results. I also hope that such a film would have good subplots, possibly a well integrated love-interest, and development of characters, such as other ex-grammaton clerics. I don't know what kind of struggle there would be, though. Possibly different political factions, who knows? Just some little thoughts. P.S. I like relatively low budget films, but upping the ante slightly would be nice. The overall feel would need to remain, unlike the shifts made when reloaded was done on a huge budget.

Pants, I've posted it twice. (Sorry) Pants, I've posted it twice. (Sorry)
;D (Grinning like an idiot in the hope you'll be nice)
A multi-cleric fight scene would be good, though, and opponents who know which way their guns should be pointing would be nice.
