I received the following this morning. Since I really do not have the time or patience for this...I turn it over to you...
Hi!
I wonder about some things, and they are the following:
1. The coat seems to be tight, so how can Bale fight in it, I haven`t seen any openings on the sides.
2. What kind of pockets those that coat have? Sometimes they seem big enough to handle a book, but sometimes they seem to be of another kind of model that can`t handle a book. Could you help me?
3. What kind of material is the coat made of, and what kind of color does Bale have on his? Sometimes it looks as though its dark blue, other times as if it was just dark. Im confused, can you straight it up?
4. Why is that Yeatsbook first small, the first time Sean Bean takes it up, and then extremly thick? I know that the size varies, I have looked carefully several times.
5. Could you give me the internetadress to the site that makes such coats?
6. Where was most of the film shot? Are the buildings real, or computeranimated?
Thank you so much for your help,

Q4: The Yeats book. The reason it changes size is for the visual effect. In the commentary, KW and Lucas say:
L: Little things you may notice are the Yeats book in this scene. When we squibbed it, we actually did it on a larger copy so it would read better on film.
K: Yeah, that's right. We did that a number of times; it's sort of a game we play. Like, the ampoules of Librium, or I'm sorry, Prozium, that Christian, or Preston, has throughout the film. It struck me that we may need one that is three times the size of the ones that are actually in the delivery device. I'm glad I thought of it, because we would have been kind of screwed otherwise. You sometimes just need to create bigger things to play to camera.
Q6: The film was shot in Berlin, using some famous landmarks like the Templehof. Best if you read the commentaries, because they tell you all you need to know. Kurt Wimmer:KW and Lucas Foster: www.freewebs.com/equilibrium-movie/dvdcommentary.htm
Hope this helps.
