WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE CRITICS!?!? They bashed this movie left and right! DID THEY EVEN WATCH IT? Good god it is an awsome movie!! I seriously think that they should have given it a better review then that...cause it deserves it!!

Yes, the critics are now on my hit list. I highly doubt I'll consider much that they have to say in the future except for maybe Ebert & Roeper.
I use to write film reviews and I'll tell you that it can jade your outlook on films. Takes all the fun out of it!!

WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE CRITICS!?!? Nothing! They're "paid" by the industry they critique. One could say that all movies are crap. That's because, if you go out on the street, for as many people you can find that liked/loved, the movie, you'll find those that disliked/hated it. There are snobby critics that only like art-house movies, and there are critics that like anything they're told they're supposed to like. This is exactly the same for music. You can't logically go about telling people if they like a movie. Unfortunately, it's not a science. Movies and music are supposed to invoke emotional responses... and as you know not everyone reacts the same to similar material. I tend to like the more blunt, in your face snotty reviews like the onion, or filthy critic. but again, that's just my taste. Critics will never go away; studios need cheerleaders for their movies. However, I think the less you pay attention to them, the better off you'll be.
