I just got one of those nifty softwares that lets you make your own real, genuine, stickable-and-mailable US Postage Stamps. Now, vested with Evil Genius technology that makes me master of my own postage, I of course--in genius style--thought of a highly deserving subject for postage-art ... the world of EQ! The question then became: well, these come in sheets, and sheets of stamps aren't awfully cheap. (And, to say true, I don't use tonnes of stamps anymore ... up-to-date Evil Geniuses do most of their business online now.) So maybe take it slow ... throw it out there ... see who we feel are the most deserving Librian personalities to have their mugs on actual postage stamps getting mailed. (After Evil-Genius-In-Residence Aedh, who naturally takes first place.) But after that ... ? Any ideas, gang? If you have a suggestion for a particular picture of a particular person, feel free to suggest, or even post it.

Well! I was going to post a funny one I was thinking of. But it appears that due to some computer weirdness, I've lost the bulk of my pictures from the computer ... probably about 25,000 images. Just the ones I could actually use of course. The useless crap was left safe and sound. So in honour of that, I might just put use the pic that's my avatar right now.

This must be very hard! But never mind, you can start to search the 25.000 images again. It's always the same: the weeds always survive the catastrophe... I have voted for the Librian flag, because I think that it symbolises the whole idea of Libria and Father in one picture. I'm a fan of remarkable symbols! ;D

That always seems to happen *just before* I back up my files. *sympathy* On the other hand, stamp art is EC-10...

Librian flag. Definitely. I'd buy those stamps. Too bad I don't live in the US.

Gotta say a sweeper. So many faceless brothers died for their cause.

OK thanks folks ... getting set to do the first three batches. The second batch will be the Librian Flag since that seems to have the most widespread popular support so far, though it's tied for votes with Father (who seems to have deleted her post); Father will be the third batch. I'll try to scan them in or somehow indicate what they came out looking like when I get them. (Once made they have to be ordered from a U.S. postal facility and take some time to arrive.)
To saavik 256, I say ... so what if you can't stick 'em? Start a stamp collection! Philately is a fun and exciting hobby. OK well, fun anyway. Except I hate those little hinge stickers ... they come in packets of not less than one million; any moisture in the air, such as from you breathing, causes them them to stick together in stubborn lumps, and they are made out of such thin paper that you look at them and they flitter away. I call them pixie Kleenex. (I'm assuming that the typical pixie is about three inches tall.)
